Went there for the 1st time last Saturday. The service and the food were both excellent. Amber was on top of everything and was very knowledgable about the menu items. Husband had a ‘skillet’ breakfast and I had the granola/berry French toast. We left very little food and we didn’t need much to eat afterwards. The food was filling and kept us going until late afternoon. I recommend this restaurant and will be back! Highland Village Texas location

My family and I decided to try Honey Berry Pancakes & Café for the first time today for breakfast, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. Upon entering, there was a noticeable wait before we could even attempt to place an order. Our waitress, Tatiana, eventually came over and asked if we wanted drinks. I declined and proceeded to ask questions about the menu and a special they had. I explained that I wasn’t interested in the house special since it contained meat and an omelette, and asked if they had a similar special without those items. Tatiana’s response was rude, dismissive, and visibly irritated. The level of unprofessionalism and poor customer service was shocking. My family and I decided not to dine there due to how uncomfortable we felt. However, before leaving, I stopped at the front desk to report the incident and was met by Raven, the operations manager. To my disbelief, she was just as dismissive and unpleasant as Tatiana. For a first-time visit, it was a truly poor experience, and we do not plan to return. If you’re looking for a welcoming, customer-oriented dining experience, this is not the place. It’s unfortunate that in today’s world, where human interaction is increasingly being replaced by automated systems, some individuals still choose to treat paying customers with such disregard. Prayers for the team – they may need it more than they realize. Downtown Chicago on State Street!

Unsettling Experience at Honey Berry Pancakes & Café – Lansing, IL Today after church, my husband and I visited Honey Berry Pancakes & Café in Lansing, excited to enjoy brunch together. I approached the front counter to ask how long the wait would be for a booth and whether I needed to leave a name. The hostess politely said it would be about 15 minutes and that we could simply wait—no name required. As I moved toward the waiting area, several customers in line suddenly began confronting me. I was accused of skipping the line and was told loudly and aggressively to “shut up.” I calmly explained that I had just spoken to the staff, but the group continued to berate me. When I tried to ask the restaurant a clarifying question, the verbal attacks escalated. I was publicly humiliated, and the situation was made worse by the fact that no staff member stepped in to address the hostility or support a peaceful guest trying to follow the process. My husband and I chose to leave. I was shaking in the car and broke down in tears. This wasn’t just a poor dining experience—it was a deeply upsetting moment that could have been prevented or softened with staff attentiveness and basic human decency. I sincerely hope management takes steps to ensure that the front-of-house staff monitor these situations better and are empowered to step in when guests are being treated unfairly. I share this review not out of anger, but out of hope that no one else has to feel the way I did in a place meant to bring comfort and joy.

Stopped here on a Saturday morning around 7:30 am, soon after they opened at 7:00 am, and it quickly started filling up so it must be popular. It was a nice place for breakfast. My wife said she really liked the eggs Benedict she ordered. I went for buttermilk pancakes and bacon, both of which were good. They put a whole pitcher of coffee on our table which I though was nice, the price was a little over $50 for breakfast for the two of us. The only detractions I could think of was that the pancake serving was much more than I could eat so I would have preferred a smaller quantity of food but at a lower price, and I had wanted more napkins than the single one wrapped around our silverware, but our server never returned to see if we wanted anything else.

Do not go to the Richardson, Texas location. The manager on duty(Renee) and the teenage rude hostess are terrible. I was removed from the wait list without an explanation after checking in. The front staff is insanely rude and I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Go anywhere else.. we ended up at hot pancakes with other people who were originally at honey berry and got 1000000 times better service

A cozy place on the main drag that offers an embarrassment of choices - each more delicious looking than the last. We had pancakes - wonderful, and breakfast tacos with chorizo, eggs, salsa and potatoes - delicious. We'll definitely come back tomorrow for more of their great choice. Service was fast and friendly. They close for the day around 2:45-3.

Visited here with family for Sunday morning breakfast. It was delightful. Waitress was superb; her customer service skills were top notch. Ambience was perfect: bright, full of light and openness. I had breakfast burrito which I will definitely come back for. Waitress treated our 2 young children with utmost patience and friendliness. Group also tried omelets, yogurt parfait and pancakes. All yummy. Coffee was good too. We will be back!

Nice healthy breakfast, the service was good. You have plenty options for breakfast and eggs. Pancakes were not great but they were good. I would stayed with the eggs and the coffee.

First time guests: large space, lots of light...lovely decor. Quick, friendly service. They have a small section of the Menu of "Senior Specials" very reasonably priced. My husband had 2 pancakes, bacon, mixed fruit and an egg...$7.00 !! I had the yogurt parfait with mixed fruit, and granola. Delicious! I have no idea what brand of yogurt they use, but it's delicious...tasted like ice cream! It was a good-sized dish and I had plenty to bring home for a snack later... I would definitely go back..I'd like to try some of their lunch items.

We were in town for a family event and found this restaurant close to our hotel. There's plenty of parking available. This was a Sunday so it was quite busy but our party of six was seated in about 10 minutes, which was much faster than they originally said. Our server arrived promptly and helped us decide on our selections. Throughout our meal she kept tabs on us. The food was quite tasty and plentiful. The menu is extensive so you might want to look at it online in advance. The restaurant is basically one large room with hard surfaces so the noise factor was always in the background but fortunately we could hear well enough to have conversations at the table. The staff were wearing masks throughout and most patrons came in with masks as well. If we're ever in the area again, we'd definitely consider coming here again.
