As we walked in we noticed a sign stating this location was closing and now we know why. We walked in at about 3:45 on a Sunday it was not very busy maybe 6 to 8 tables total. It took them several minutes to acknowledge and seat us. After being seated, we waited for over 20 mins to be acknowledged by a server but to no avail. We then witnessed another couple get seated and a server walked up to them within 2 minutes of them sitting down. It had now been thirty minutes since being seated and our server still hadn't even acknowledged us. We decided to leave. As we are leaving our server finally acknowledged us but only to confirm that we were leaving...We went across the street to bulldog Ale house who were very busy yet still managed to acknowledge us within seconds of us walking in and had us seated immediately. Even though the restaurant was packed our server came and checked on is within minutes of sitting and was able to get us our drinks. What a stark contrast in service.

It’s a shame that the Bolingbrook Red Robin is closing, and to make matters worse the service and the quality of the food shows it. Lack of effort. Tables were dirty, dirty dishes. It was just a mess.They’ll be closing 1/28.

Service was poor, the waiter didn’t come check on us for refills or to even see how are food was. Two other employees had to come and take our empty plates away and get us refills. Quality of the food was bad too, burgers were broken in pieces on the bun, and was not what was described on the menu.

Let me start by saying that I love their burgers. While living in Warrenville, I used to order from them at least twice a week. Since I moved to Bolingbrook, I have ordered several times from this location. In those ordering, only once I got my order right. Every other time, they messed it up. First, instead of sending plain kids burger, we got regular cheeseburger with all topings in. My nephew was left hungry. Then, two times I ordered - Add avocado, but I got mashed avocado instead, which is pretty hot, and I am breastfeeding. I called, furious, spoke to the manager who was very understanding and offered to bring another burger herself. Now, today, the burger I got is completely undercooked. It is fully red and raw inside, and as mentioned above, I am breastfeeding, so I can't have any raw meat. Not that anyone should eat burger looking like that. After this today, I am done with Red Robin, at least until you hire people who know how to read customer orders or someone who knows how to cook. This is pretty sad, honestly, since they have one of the best burgers I have tried

Family dinner at the Bbrook Red Robin.Great service.Food was out fast.Didn't have to ask for extra napkins or drink refills.Our waitress was ahead of every need. Manager checked on us, also.Try the cinnamon donut rings...DELISH!

Great service. Unfortunately, the food was thoroughly disappointing. The burgers had no flavor and the fries were also bland and not crispy. Not worth the money; wish it was as good as I remembered it being 15 years ago.

I was a regular customer of this location, but, after the last two orders (one delivery, one pickup), I will not be returning.For the first order, the delivery person forgot my milkshakes, which is obviously not the restaurant's fault. But then there were also mistakes with the food. I then had further issues after speaking with them on the phone trying to resolve. A) They didn't know how their own website works for their online ordering. B) The manager offered me a refund which I never received. And C) the manager refused to get on the phone with me when i asked to speak with him, and he instead relayed all his responses to my questions through the front desk person. That last one was the worst offense in my opinion, he could not even be bothered to talk to me. Management on site has clearly given up.In the end, I had to contact customer service on the website two weeks later to get my refund, which I was finally given in the form of a gift card.I used the gift card a few weeks ago, which I went to pick up. First thing i noticed is the dramatically smaller size cup for the $7.00 milkshake. Way smaller than last time, so I see shrinkflation has hit Red Robin. They were also half melted, as if they had been prepared right away when my order was placed and sat out, as opposed to making them last closer to pickup time. The food was correct, but not good. The presentation/preparation of the burgers was a hot mess, and fries were old. The kitchen staff on site has clearly given up.So in summary, they've got a management team and a kitchen team that have completely given up at this location, and it's clear they don't care about what they are putting out to their customers. Maybe I will try another location if I find one, but I will not be going back to Red Robin Bolingbrook.
