Premium toppings seasoned to perfection. The crust was crunchy and satisfying. The sausage was exceptional, some of the best I’ve ever had. We tried both the deep dish and thin crust, hard to tell which one I liked more.

Red Star is a fairly new takeout pizza place in an odd set of buildings along Weber Rd. There isn't any light up signage to signify it's open, and most of the other businesses around are auto shops, gyms, and construction material places. Also the hours of operation aren't exactly clear yet. All that being said, the pizza was great! Red Star started out during the pandemic making Frozen pizzas out of the owner's house using fresh ingredients, small batch sauce, and hand made everything. I believe frozen pizza is still their main thing, but I got a "slice" of cheese and a "slice" of sausage fresh made. They were basically each their own while pizza and after I ordered they were cut into smaller slices and put into a to-go box. $10 for a massive slice and a can of pop, which was actually a good value when you see how big and taste how Delicious the pizza is. The crust was strong and chewy and very flavorful, sauce was hearty, cheese and sausage were great. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying more. Hoping they get a little better with signage and hours to make this a more attractive visit for others!

We met this young man at the Wheaton French Market on Saturday, he was personable and knowledgeable about the pizza making process. In short he sold us and we were not disappointed. The veggie pizza we had this evening was delicious, so good and fresh tasting! The directions say 35 minutes in a 425 oven but it needs more time than that, maybe 45-50 IMO. Looking forward to revisiting this seller!Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza is ?

The main man is reason for the very best pizza I have experienced in ALL Chicagoland.Pizza - I ordered thin crust, with sausage and mushrooms.The pizza was esoteric full blown Italian old world cuisine at its best.The crust was clean and gentle to the touch crunchy perfectly baked to a tongue breakable delightful perfection.The sauce was of a clean robust flavor which was outstandingly delicious and not overburdened with too many spices. Perfection ! ! !The cheese was full bodied yet light at the same time which allowed for a beautiful non clumping, non stringy but very tender delight for my tongue.The Italian sausage was incomparably seasoned to the Italian Sicilian Calabrian connection of Olympic Gold Medal perfection.The Mushrooms were thinly sliced to enhance the essence of all the magnificent subtle flavor combinations presented.What my Great Grandma said to my Great Grandpapa was "Oh Papa, lets do it again" . . .RED STAR is easy to remember because it is a fabulous 5 STARS

Just tried the thin crust and it's great. You can tell they use fresh toppings and it's not super greasy like other places.

had a pleasant experience with the owner who went above and beyond making sure i had what i needed. Prices might seem steep but with everything done in house and the quality makes it worth it.
