The fried rice is horrendous. Its nothing like the picture on the menu. The meat was low tier grade. The meat was not great flavors or tender. Alot of food yes but id say for the taste and quality it's over priced. They force gratuity. And lock you into paying more money if you don't finish your food. It feels very pushy and not realxed. And the host who sat us made me very uncomfortable while speaking to us about the menu. Not very professional behavior. Wouldnt ever go again. $50 I spent woulda been better off at Fogo de chau. Chama de gucha. Or the japense BBQ in naperville. This Wabi Q is very mediocre.

Recommended dishes: Korean BBQ and Hot Pot
Things were not explained well at all and online it shows noodles as an option but no noodles were available at the resturant, our grill was swapped out but was also turned off and we didn’t know so nothing was cooking and then we found out there was a time limit so we did not get to enjoy very much at all, disappointed in the experience and the service.

Got the hotpot here and it was very good! They also have a sauce bar in the back where you can get dipping sauces.
Update:
Used to love this place but they've gotten expensive for what it is. Also be aware they stopped doing the half price lunch hotpot. It's now full price for lunch.
We did the bbq version but it is not an authentic Korean bbq experience. Not much banchsn except for kimchi and marinated onions. The meat quality is okay. I would not suggest the marinated meat as they are overly sweet. But the beef slices and pork belly is good. Garlic shrimp is horrible.
The food and the atmosphere is phenomenal!
My fiance and I had the hot pot and BBQ combo for about $37 per person and the food was great.
There are spicy and non-spicy options for the soup base and plenty of meats for the BBQ side. They also had a sauce bar for things you wish to customize yourself. You also have 2hrs to order what you would like, but I highly suggest getting a little at a time.
This is a great date/group place, heck, even consider going by yourself for a filling meal that doesn't leave you feeling bad afterwards.
We'll definitely coming back here soon & thank you to the staff for serving us well 😄☺️ This is a hidden gem 💎

Me and my family went for my 7&8 year old siblings birthday asked for a id for them,I’m 16 and don’t have a ID so we showed there birth certificate the worker denied it but the manager said it was okay. later on we ordered, the food was really good, but the customer service was horrible. I don’t know if they’re racist or whatever but they were acting like we were slow and didn’t know what we were doing. They kept reaching over our food. One of the workers almost hit me in my head while I was eating reaching over me, trying to get our garbage and my mom didn’t get her refill. She had to go up to them to tell them again after waiting at least 10 minutes, not only that there was at least 3 to 4 different families in there and they came up to us to tell us that the kitchen closes at eight so we will have to leave soon. We got there around seven. He didn’t go to any other tables but ours.
The meat was fatty. They charged my cc an extra $10 on top of a 20% tip

Regular Price for AYCE Korean BBQ (Dinner, Weekends, Holidays) is now $32.99/person as of 9/28/2025.
To be honest, I had low expectations going in due to the mixed reviews, but overall it was a pretty great experience. Some of their meats were actually great.
Best / what to order:
- Short Ribs → this is one of their best meats. Period. Was pleasantly surprised to be honest.
- Pork Belly (Spicy / Regular)
- Black Pepper Beef
- Beef Slices
- Garlic Shrimp
- Fried Rice
- Decent sauce selection
What we didn't like/enjoy:
- Beef Tongue: this was way too tough. Hard to chew. Go to Gyu-kaku instead if you want real good beef tongue.
- Ribeye Steak: also very tough.
Price is quite similar/consistent with other AYCE Korean BBQ places you'd find in the Northern/North-west Suburbs.
Place/vibe is so-so. The bathrooms definitely could use a bit more cleaning. But this is definitely your best bet in the Bolingbrook area.

We had a nice hotpot and bbq lunch. I really enjoyed their original broth hotpot. All the rest were good but the bulgogi was not to my liking.
