I had been hearing about this place for months and I thought I'd try it. Everyone seems to rave about it, but it was not good at all, in my opinion. I ordered the 5 piece chicken wings, macaroni and cheese and a double side of collard greens. The chicken was not fully cooked. I had a piece that I bit into that was a little pink/bloody at the bone.? I threw it away. The macaroni and cheese was SOUPY. It didn't look baked. I wondered if they gave me some that was prepared for the oven and maybe someone thought it was baked already. It was light in color and very SOUPY ???. Greens are my favorite, so I couldn't wait try them. It's a NO for me. They weren't seasoned at all, except for the very spicy seasoning used (maybe cayenne pepper or some sort of Cajun seasoning). The broth/pot liquor tasted like water. I can make better greens at home. As a matter of fact, I should've saved my money and made the entire meal at home. This was not soul food or any meal I'd ever buy again. They didn't cook this food with any care, effort or seasoning. Captain hooks has the best chicken wings in the county and I'd rather have the Mac and cheese from noodles & company ???

Nice little mall grill. I wasn't very hungry so I got a side of baked Mac and Cheese and a Diet Coke. The Mac and Cheese had a very nice flavor and appeared to be made from scratch. Plenty for a snack but not to share. Locally owned business so that was a huge plus for me. Also minority owned, another plus for me. Good to see local eats in our mall.
