I’m so glad i finally tried the food here! Everything is so good! My whole family has liked pretty much everything they’ve tried. For a weekend treat they chose veggie burgers, smoothies, and acai bowls over any other option. They’re also very helpful with food allergies which is really hard to find!

Just left here. I got the black bean burger and the black bean burritos with truffle and sweet potato fries. This was the best vegan restaurant I have ever been to in Illinois. Also the owners were so sweet and kind and accommodating. You have a forever customer in me. This food was so delicious

Dropped in for the vegan mac burger with sweet potato fries. I enjoyed talking to the owner. My order was ready upon arrival and everything was hot and fresh, I even got my extra pickles i ordered.

My first time coming to Kankakee, and I thought I’d stay hungry until I got back home to Chicago. Then, I found this hidden gem in Northfield Square Mall. The owners, Robert and Denise, were so nice and passionate about the food they serve with the intention of bringing awareness to the vegan lifestyle, and it’s BLACK OWNED! I tried a small piece of their pumpkin cake which was delicious, and I ordered a falafel sandwich with sweet potato fries “yam’d” up that hit every spot.

Lent was the perfect opportunity to try out this vegan spot I always walk past. I should have stopped by sooner. The vegan mac is out of this world! The best vegetarian burger I've tried. The bun was soft and fluffy. The patty was incredible. And BIG! As a meat lover, I can't believe it is vegan! The sauce tastes like an elevated bigmac sauce. I can't wait to try out the other burgers (which probably won't happen since I have a feeling I'll just end up ordering the vegan mac again!). She also had falafels for sale. You can't beat a fresh, homemade falafel. I bought falafel balls as such and it was very good. The only thing I'd add is some salt. If you're having a falafel wrap, it won't be an issue.
For vegans (and non-vegetarians), this spot is a must try. Even my in-laws, who are picky eaters, said the burgers were fantastic! And that is high praise coming from them.
