Best Japanese food in Bradley/Bourbonnais/Kankakee. I've had fresher and tastier from the Japanese restaurants in Naperville and Aurora, Illinois. Yamamoto's in Warsaw, Indiana is another top restaurant for freshess and taste.We had Bento Lunch boxes. Shrimp Tempura and Ton Katsu with pork gyoza for an appetizer. The meals had generous portions.Definitely plan on eating here again.

Not sure why this place has so many good reviews. We came to have sushi for dinner and were greatly disappointed. The fish was not fresh, sushi tasted funny. Service was slow…dishes came out at different times…kids waited for a long time. Word of advice: serve kids first…

First time here, and will be the last. I ordered the steak and chicken combo hibachi, and my husband got the salmon and steak combo. I received 7 pieces of steak, and 10 pieces of chicken, and a very slime portion of rice and veggies, the lady next to me ordered the same thing as me, and wow her plate was full of steak and chicken, rice and veggies, my husband received a little more 13 pieces of steak, the salmon was the smallest I have ever seen. This was the first time I left hungry after eating at hibachi grill. After spending 93.00 I expected to be full. The steak and chicken themselves was very small, everyone else took to go boxes, not us, and normally we always do. I will never be back to this place again. The food was good overall, but the servings were awful. Very disappointing.

The food and service were really very good last night. Our server was Amanda and she was super friendly, knowledgeable about the food, and she never missed a beat. We had sushi, gyoza, edamame, steak teriyaki and beef negimaki, and they were all fantastic. Amanda got them to us in stages so we could enjoy each dish.The entrees arrived at the table still sizzling. Even the salad and soup - really good.We didn't sit by the hibachi last night but we have before and enjoyed it, so will definitely go hibachi next time.We will definitely be back, all in all our was very enjoyable and relaxing with great food and service!

The chief was great the food was great the server a black haired girl with tattoos was rude to everyone at the table including my wife who was celebrating her birthday. This is the second time I've come across that server and still she was extremely rude hopefully they find someone else that is kinder to replace her.
