I am writing to share my recent experience at the Steak ’n Shake in Bradley. Unfortunately, my visit was extremely disappointing due to the way I was treated by both the staff and the manager on duty. After placing an order online, I arrived at the restaurant early and politely asked if I could be accommodated. Instead of receiving a simple answer, I was met with rudeness, disrespect, and even threats from employees. One female staff member even remarked, “I’m going to get paid the same no matter what,” which I found highly unprofessional and dismissive. As a paying customer, I believe I deserve to be treated with courtesy, not hostility. What the employees at this location fail to recognize is that without customers, there is no business — and no paychecks. The level of unprofessionalism I experienced was unacceptable. I also attempted to cancel my order through the mobile app but could not find an option to do so, which added to my frustration. Ultimately, this experience has left me with no desire to ever return to this location, and I will not be spending my hard-earned money at this establishment. This is a picture of the employee that was the rudest. #steakandshake

Old schools 1950s era! Loved that! They moved from the traditional waiter they used to have to kiosks:(. The soft drink machine you have to scan your receipt to activate it (then you can only get 1 refill). The food was good, but took a long time to make…. Then we ordered 3 milkshakes to go and waited nearly 20 minutes for them to be done……

Not a fan of the new layout. The new style of their service sucks. The fountain soda machine has a scanner to get drinks and the atmosphere is sub par. #BringBackTheOldSteaknshake

The customer service at the ordering machine is always great. The food however, always come out incorrectly no matter how many times I repeat it. Medium onion ring was fresh and delicious...but more like a small! I'll be on another hiatus from this location for a while.

We were walk ins and we while we didn’t get greeted right off the bat by employees (later on who I assume is the new manager did greet us) I feel like they’re doing a much better job here. There’s still room for improvement, but compared to before, this is so much better

I haven't been to this location in quite some years. I went inside with a friend, place was clean and food was good. You order at a touchscreen kiosk type of deal with slightly confusing navigation. Staff was friendly and service was pretty quick. The cheese fries are still soooooo yummy.

Drive through. Wait was long. Food was not very good. The hamburger was so thin 1/8” and dropped over the bun, very little cheese and taste was terrible. The milkshake had over 1/3 whipped cream and the ice cream had lumps in it.

I hate it when I get here at 10 when it says it's open then a girl that sounds pike she's high out of her mind opens the door and starts yelling saying they arnt open yet and give them an hour bc they just didn't feel like starting work.

No counter service, no wait staff, no drive-through.
Orders are placed on a kiosk, and then the wait begins. It took 35 minutes to get my shake. The place was empty. Only one other customer who couldn't figure out how to place an order. They ordered 15 minutes after I did, and they received their order before I did.
If I didn't know I ordered a peppermint shake, I couldn't tell from drinking it.

Was wondering why I never see anyone there. Stopped in and ordered food and they never called my name when it was done.they let it sit there and get cold. The order was not correct either. Was told that I would have to wait for the gm to arrive before I could get a refund.

Update gm refused to give a refund.
Eat anywhere else.
