Very good place to eat well balanced healthy meals. Too bad that they are closing and selling the building. I hope that someone will buy it and keep the Chinese food and decor.

This was my first time ordering from here. We thought we’d branch out and try a new local place because we have been going to another local spot for so long. The chicken fried rice was okay, but the chicken chow mein was made significantly different than other restaurants I have been to and I was not a fan of this particular style. The crab rangoon also lacked filling. This would not be my first choice if given an option between other local restaurants, but the service was quick and they were very friendly.

I LOVE their Kung Pao shrimp!! The shrimp is cooked to perfection and the sauce is so flavorful. I always have enough for two meals and the price is very reasonable. China Chef is my go to for Chinese food. They are the best!!

Ordered egg rolls and chicken fried rice to go. Egg rolls were soggy, hot mustard was so old it was a dark brown color and congealed. The rice was dry and obviously reheated. It is too bad, I used to like this place but it has been steadily declining over last few years.

We've lived in the Bradley/Bourbonnais area for 5 years now. Why haven't any of our friends told us about China Chef! This place is AWESOME! Food was super FAST. Food was HOT. Service was super ATTENTIVE. We've been looking for this place since we moved here!

let me first say I use to love there food they had the best eggrolls and there orange chicken was awesome. I ordered some orange chicken today that was HORRIBLE!! there orange chicken has never been battered (that was one of the reasons i liked it) it was battered and I'm questioning if I was eating chicken!!! it also didn't taste the same the sauce wasn't sweet at all (it use to be)it didn't LOOK the same at ALL!! and it has NEVER had orange slices in it but it did today. SMDH "I am so done"

Egg rolls are good could use less cabbage and more flavoring. Not as tasty as cliff and tommys was when they were open. Fried rice great. Crab Rangoon needs more filling!!!! But good taste. The dishes are good, just gravy sauce is to runny. It never used to be. Hopefully they take some positive criticism.

We've been enjoying China Chef since our wedding nite 45 years ago. There food hasn't changed and become Americanized like most Chinese restaurants. You can still get dishes with lots of veggies which we love. Thanks for all your hard work to hang in there thru all the crises' to bring excellent chinese food to Kankankee.
Our favorite Chinese! Best egg rolls in town. We always get the shrimp fried rice though so not sure about the rest. Since no dine in anymore we just go for our favorite meal for take out!!

The general tsos chicken was tough and flavorless. The egg rolls were soggy and gross. The boneless spare ribs were just chunks of mystery meat with some sauce on it.
