Shelby’s was my favorite place to go for environment and snacks but they recently started carding people and it is not for their age. I am a 50 year old and I look like a 50 year old. When you show them your ID they don’t even look at your age. It is all about getting your name which they put in their computer along with which machine you go to. And they are persistent. If they can’t see your name they will badger you until they get it. It is none of their business what my name is, what machine I play, how long I am there, or how much money I spend. Many gamblers will feel the same. I have heard people at other establishments saying the same about them. Although I would like to, I will no longer go there. There are plenty of other places to go.

There staff in the Bradley store in the Bradley location honestly made a huge turn around!! Staff is very very nice!! The owners yet to meet them him or her but this place has made huge changes to everything to better accommodate there customer's service is great. Yes the upper Management did an amazing thing they went out with old and in with the new. Now it makes me feel as the corporation does value my personal feedback. Why because I'm gonna give you my absolute honest opinion. As for a place of employment I used to work at Kankakee store wish they would do some updating in the gaming room. But see they change management they couldn't have picked a better person. She actually trained me she's a manager gabbs very very positive polite great job in the turn around Shelby's!! Still yet to hit big at either location but due to covid-19 cases closed them up for a little bit. But when them doors open the atmosphere of both locations it's spot on. Once again great job SHELBY'S and Gabby for being one of the greatest people I have met speaks measures about the corporation!!

Employee was attentive, kind and patient. Informed us of a promotion, not our thing but she had asked everyone who entered the store. Which was nice to see some persistence. Kept machines clean and sanitized after each person moved, was great to see because Laceys absolutely doesn't. This is why we tried out your bradley location again. She got some gruff from a women about an being carded but handled the situation way better than I would have, I believe her name was tatania. Shiftchange happened and the next employee asked me if we were doing ok and if she could grab us a snack or drink. Then asked if we were interested in the promo that she wanted to double check and make sure we were informed about it so we wouldn't miss out. She bakes us fresh chocolate chip cookies and was kind. I believe her name was Gabrealle? Store smelled fresh and clean. Bathrooms where emaculate. We will definitely be returning again! My mother had such a blast.

There staff in the Bradley store in the Bradley location is honestly horrible. This last Saturday I show up to play at 11pm lights on not supposed to close till 2am. This place has really gone down hill. Kankakee store said it was open till 2 tonight 7/16/2020 I pull up lights were off the girls were closing up they seen me pull up and hurry to their car and leave. I usted to work there at the kankakee store is going down the tubes fast. I never quit there when I was there it's just that I wanted to be there more and couldn't seems they can't get a staff for whatever reason. Bradley I got run out of at 1 in my bonus spins so I had to hurry in my bonus because the worker had to leave which costed me money not happy at all. Very sad don't know what happened but I would love to be the area manager because I know what these places are capable of i seen it. Sorry but it's turning into one of the worst places to go.
This is one of two places I go to that you can normally almost always return what you put in or leave with more. I will always love Shelby's I worked for them great place to work never really quit just doctor wouldn't allow me to work due to a car accident. Great owner as well knowing they have so many stores they still care about there employees. Some may disagree that's because you didn't do your job correctly plain and simple. Hated listening to people complain about the pay you signed a sheet agreeing to your pay! Then tell customer's how much you make and complain about it yes a business will let you go!! Anyone's replaceable. Except death!! My only problem was that employees didn't clean becides a hand full!! Again apart of your job!! Only complaint is every Cafe should have atleast 1 TV they have none every other cafe does!!

Met a lovely young lady named Gabbie today who was very kind and attentive. The store was clean smelled nice like fresh baked cookies. Lots of options game wise and the store had a nice warm feel. My husband and myself were impressed! We'll be returning.
