Wish I could give zero stars. Every single time I come in my food is messed up. I have to stand at the counter and be ignored by the teenagers working until they magically decide to come help me. Which is another thing. The staff will just ignore you and they rarely check the front counter. They do anything in their power to not work. I’ve seen it with my own eyes and heard it. The food is just thrown together without care. They never give you a drink because THEY DONT CARE. Not to mention every single night after school gets out the lobby is PACKED with teens playing around with the employees. Employees only help out their friends and will sit and chit chat while everyone else is left waiting 20-30min on just a sandwich. I waited for 30min on a burger here. It’s sad. My food is ALWAYS stone cold. It doesn’t matter how busy this location is. The service is always horrible at night. Even if there’s only one other person ordering food it will still take FOREVER. The wait would be fine if the food was fresh but it’s always obviously old. Stone cold fries. Old burgers that have clearly been sitting out. It’s disgusting.
I see people saying they’re trying. But in the end they’re not. They continue to try to not give food to people and upcharge you for every little thing. The general manager of this place is so nasty about any customer complaint so there’s no hope with even trying to say something in person. At the end of the day I don’t care if people goof off. But it’s clearly affecting everyone when every single review in the past few months is about how slow and lazy your staff is. This McDonald’s won’t get better until they replace with lazy employees with people that know what they’re doing. Avoid coming in at night at all costs. It will save you time, money, and a headache. You’re better off going to any other restaurant.

This location is trying very hard not to be as bad as the reviews say. They are getting there, slowly but surely. I am a regular customer and have been for the past 7 years. I am probably one of their most difficult customers because I won't accept garbage quality food, and I definitely won't eat it or give it to my family. We have had some ups and downs, but this location has always taken care of my concerns, and you better believe it, I will always address them. :) I don't believe in having to request that my food is made fresh, as it should always be, and not just for me, but for all McDonald's customers...especially at these prices. However, I make sure to say this when placing my order, and I don't mind the wait to get freshly made food. There have been a few issues with orders where an item will be shorted from the order, or will look like it was prepared the day before, but Maraiya (I am sure I misspelled that), has been amazing in rectifying any such issues. Overall, I have had a positive experience, although I had to work for it to get there...in one way or another.

Last two times I ordered through the Kiosk hoping to get exactly what my family wanted. NOPE! This place has really gone down hill. Been a customer for 20+ years. Well, no more! I will no longer visit this location again. McDonalds, you lost me as a customer for ever, you can thank this location and all of your other ones that have been re-modeled. Talk about a cold, just give me your money and leave atmosphere. So sad, I will simply move on to other choices.

If I could give zero stars I would. Me and my fiancee were in the lobby for almost 20 minutes waiting for someone to come to the counter to get our orders. When we finally said could someone help us they yelled from the back you can wait a minute. They were very rude, inconsiderate, and very bad customer service. Would never recommend going there. Very poor for rating.

As someone who's worked customer service for years I absolutely understand wanting to get off work as soon as possible, closing 20 minutes early tho is unacceptable. I don't recommend coming here in the afternoon. Day shift is typically friendly and hospitable, do not come here if you're hoping to get a meal after 10 PM. I wouldn't of even tried getting food after work if it had been 5-10 minutes to close but 20 minutes.. Highly recommend going to the McDonald's in Wilmington, IL about 10-15 from this location.

This morning I placed an order for pick up. The food was amazing but I order a chicken McGriddle and I put on the mobile order I didn’t want the chicken but they gave it to me anyway in a 10 piece chicken nugget box. I’m not even upset about it. But it’s every time I come to this McDonalds one thing is always wrong with my order.

This location is disgusting. From the food, the atmosphere and down to the employees. Manager and all. All I can say is there are plenty of people that would appreciate and respect this “job” more than what’s in there now. The staff is a joke and their cooking abilities are even worse. If you say you’re open until 11, then work your job fully until 11. They shouldn’t get to choose to stop cooking any earlier than that because they are lazy and want to leave exactly at 11.

My boyfriend had stopped at braidwood McDonalds on his way home from work today for himself and my niece. Who puts one nugget in a kids happy meal box? We had received our order and went to go give it to my niece and there was literally one chicken nugget in the box. Everything else was right but seriously how do u even manage to do that. They slap all of their food together now I know it’s McDonald’s but come on now. Majority of the employees have poor customer service. Just bc it’s McDonald’s doesn’t mean u should have lack of caring or trying you’re still working and deal with the public.

I ordered breakfast on 12/21/24 and only received half my food and it was terrible on top of that!! Only award this place should earn is the worst McDonald’s ever!! Terrible food quality and terrible customer service.
