My daughter's best friend ordered a cake from here. The cake was on the expensive side but we expected that. We didn't expect the cake to be over baked and burnt!!! The cake was so dry. The only thing edible was the icing. Never will we ever go to this place again.

After encountering them at a tasting event for our venue, we chose Covered in Chocolate to provide the dessert bar at our recent annual gala. BEST. DECISION. EVER! They were incredibly easy to work with, from the tasting to the consultation, through the calls and emails, and finally to the setup on the day of the event. The desserts were DELICIOUS and even served as a design element. They matched the colors of our event perfectly. It was amazing to see how often people took pictures of the dessert table—we saw it a LOT that night. As soon as dinner was done, guests flocked to the dessert table until it was completely empty. There wasn't a crumb left. We send out a survey each year after the event to find out where we fell flat and where we succeeded—Covered in Chocolate was a resounding hit!

They set up a beautiful grazing table for our cocktail hour which we were unable to take proper before photos of because our guests ate everything so quickly! The dessert table was beautiful, and every dessert was simply delicious! While we absolutely loved everything, the strawberry gooey butter cookies were to DIE for.
I have also eaten lunch there and the food does not disappoint. I highly recommend Covered, they make delicious food and desserts!

I ordered cupcakes on September 18th for my daughter’s birthday. I called the week before and made sure the order was going to be ready on time on October 15, as last time they didn’t have my order at all - claimed they lost the ticket). Got the same excuse this time. They lost the ticket, they’ve had to fire people etc. They offered me free cake pops instead of cupcakes.. and then i was told i wouldn’t have to pay for the cupcakes. Upon receiving the cupcakes, late, i then get told i need to pay for them via text from the owner. I wouldn’t recommend using them.

Food is pretty good and cute stuff. Cute and clean little shop. Prices seem high, but it’s a little splurge. Tho I would never buy a pan of bread pudding for $35 because it’s cheap and easy to make. One star for service- bizarre. Staff didn’t acknowledge us- woman didn’t say hello or goodbye or thanks. Just (finally) what do you want? Then she seemed mad and plopped it on counter and walked away. Not sure that I would return.

I have been at well over a thousand weddings in my life as a DJ and I've never seen anything like the display that covered in chocolate had last night! I wish I could have tried everything! The cake pops were delicious and moist, the chocolate covered strawberries were perfect! The chocolate didn't crumble off and make a huge mess when you bit into them, and the strawberry cookies were so amazing with fresh cut strawberries on top! Everything was set up so beautifully 10/10 will recommend and use them at my wedding!
