We have eaten at Eddies several times and Connie is always our waitress. She is wonderful, she makes sure everything is just the way you want it. She always smiles and has something pleasant to say. She makes us feel at home.

This was me and my wife's go to restaurant for like a month. We went one day and there were hairs in multiple of my dishes! I asked to speak with the manager and they don't have any manager on staff! I request a call back and didn't receive one. Time to find a new restaurant.

You pay extra for peppers, and they never add them to the omelet. I also found a large egg shell this time. Last time we went, my wife had a long gray hair in her sandwich. They remade it, but there went another 30 minutes. We just won't be returning, you can get more food for less at the 50 Cafe in Carlyle.

We arrived at 7pm (they close at 8pm) and waitress was friendly but couldn't hide her annoyance at having a large party come in an hour before close. Small mistakes were made with some of our orders - waitress said the cook was tired. She did correct the problem though. I have been to this restaurant twice in the past for brunch and those were very good experiences. However, due to this experience, I won't be returning for evening meals.

We have been to Eddie's a few times and usually the food is very good. This time we tried the fried chicken and it was terrible. The skin was so hard I couldn't bite through it. I decided to peel off the hard shell and it was over half inch thick and the meat inside was very small compared to the size of the piece. I felt like I heard it in sizzling in the fryer for a very long time while waiting and it was over cooked. They were a bit understaffed and we waited 90 minutes to get our food. The waitress was very apologetic but even she wasn't really keeping up with cleaning tables. At least 6 tables just walked out. Maybe it was a bad night for them. I'll probably still go back because it's usually pretty delicious. Just not the fried chicken.

My mother and I came for breakfast on 8/5/2024 and very happy with the dining experience. We came in about 9:30 and the restaurant was already busy before we arrived. The staff on hand were friendly and all the food was great and on point and their menu choices have expanded since last time. I'd go as far as to put it in my top ten current places to eat in Clinton County
