We always have good food there, and very pleasant with the management and staff. Their prices are just right!

Pool league was supposed to play at this tavern, however, they scheduled streaming basketball and euchre league leaving no seats or room for pool league. Total disregard to our league by not reserving tables for approximately 16 people supporting their bar...league moved to a more accommodating location and hopefully remains this way...service while short lived was disrespectful to say the least

Absolutely one of the best places in the metro area. Service is great, food is terrific and great ambiance. Yet, the best part is the fact that the owner is out busing tables, delivering food and checking on customers to make sure there experience meets there expectations. His reputation far exceeds what most places offer these days. Keep up the good work
You’ll never be disappointed stopping by for a meal this little ‘diamond’ of a restaurant in St Rose, Illinois! The menu offerings, the friendliness and promptness of the waitstaff are ‘first class’, and you won’t find this anywhere else! For a romantic dinner for two, or for a family gathering, this is the perfect place! I highly recommend the Chophouse!

Food is outstanding. Service was great as well. Everyone was polite and very attentive, familiar with the menu, and not once did I have to ask for a refill on my my water. So many times our waiter or waitress will take our order, help deliver the food, and then we may not see them until the check is delivered. Not the case here. Staff was pleasant and engaged, but not overly or awkwardly friendly.

Was passing through town and unfortunately ran onto this place. Went in for dinner, judging from the exterior we were not expecting much but even with low expectations it failed miserably. Completely outdated, almost eerily so, should've followed our instincts and left upon arrival because the food was equally as horrible. Never Again! How can a business look this even survive!
