I love this place!!!I grew up near here. But had traveled to Breese from Edwardsville to pick up some glasses from Clarkson. Placed my order, and apparently you pay when picking up. Found out at the window that they only take cash. They did tell me an ATM was across the street. I never use an ATM and don’t have a pin number So, I counted up all the change in my car and I had six dollars and some change I asked, how much would it be to take off one of the hamburgers and a fry so they said just a minute and came back to The window and saidhow much do you have? It was 12 something and I had six dollars and some change. They said that’s fine. Just go ahead. Very nice people !!! So, next time I come to breese, I will be giving them back their six dollars I owe, and eating here again because the hamburgers are fabulous. Also love the outdoor seating and atmosphe. Takes me back to a simpler time. Thank you you, Wally’s! See ya next time. You must try this place!!

We've been told by friends who live in the area that Wally's was amazing. We decided to take a little ride out and try for ourselves. Got there and noticed the cash only sign, no biggie, ATM in walking distance. Ordered cheeseburger and cheese fries and a Choc shake, wife got chesburger and seasoned waffle fries and a vanilla shake. The food was hot and delicious!! Shakes were very good. Love places like this. We will for sure be back.

We had a Malt and sundae. Both were pretty darn good. The malt could have used a bit more malt flavoring in it.
First time here and it lived up to the hype. Delicious double cheeseburgers with cheesy fries. The shakes were great.
Food is made to order so the wait was expected and worth it. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent straight-up burger stand.
Both the triple cheeseburger and fish sandwiches were hot, fresh, and well done. Cook-to-order took less than ten minutes. The drink cup is a "medium", not large. Doesn't last long.
Safety Tip: US 50 can be dangerous for the unfamiliar. Do not leave Breese later than 1500/3 PM on a Sunday. The people trying to escape Lake Carlyle, and make it across the bridge show no mercy.
Parking: Busy parking lot on the weekends
