Hello Everyone, I truly enjoy a variety of ethnic foods and in particular, Middle-Eastern food. There many very good restaurants in the Midwest, however, there is El-Shafei Sweets and Kitchen, and by far the most authentic, delicious with an outstanding menu.

I have catered the terrific El Shafei foods to parties, corporate events and at home and on every occasion, the folks who tasted the El-Shafei dish have always asked, "WHERE DID YOU GET THIS FROM?" The restaurant is friendly, clean and welcoming. You can observe the wonderful and highly skilled chefs performing and cooking the great El Shafei menu.

If you want the best maamol with pistachios in the world, come here. Once you try it, you will never eat any other maamol. Of course the fresher the better, try to call in advance to have him make you a fresh batch. This is unquestionably the best maamol you’ll ever eat.

Elshafei offers a great variety of pastries, sweets, and many other foods. I typically order a tray of delicate savory spinach, cheese, and meat pies alongside a tray of sweet pastries like baklava. The store is well-kept, clean, and run by a family that has been here for many years. Highly recommend.
