I stopped going to this kfc many years ago because of the food and the lack of customer service. This has changed! Miguel behind the counter is knowledgeable and has some of the best customer service skills I have ever experienced. Definitely a future Store Manager and to the top after that. Thank you Miguel!

Hello folks, I don't normally write reviews, but just had to show some love to this KFC 🐔 here!
I placed an order after work, all the way up in Skokie, I knew it was gonna be a 2 hour drive so I ordered on the app and put pickup time @ 5:15pm.
After the long drive I get to KFC early actually, I called them up to check that my order went through, and a man tells me if I want I can come in and get my order early as they will do it and there's no need to wait— and, the chicken was just pulled out of the fryer! 🐔🔥
Everything was just as order, fast, fresh and chicken was juicy, large and flavorful.
I'm not joking you guys, I worked in the foodservice as a Chef downtown Chicago's, at some of the best, Alinea group restaurants and others, and I respect people in the industry, getting up before the sun does, putting orders away, setting up, prepping food, cooking it, dealing with all kind of people's attitudes all day, then breaking equipment down, cleaning and putting everything away, closing just to do the same the next day, all while you're rushing all day on your feet in a very hot fast paced and humid, stressful place.
I don't get how other's down vote this place and say some ridiculous of all things, i.e. this young kid working there or how there's Popeyes across. Okay, you should be glad a young man wants to work and learn values by working hard and showing up to do more than some of you do in a week, and the Popeyes across the street looked deserted. Some people, just like to vent and moan when their perfect life streak hits a curve or something. Go work in the food service for a day and see if you even last the full shift or cook your own food, good luck 🤣🙌

Stopped in for a quick bite—food was good, hot, and fresh. Staff were polite and friendly, no issues with service. The place was clean and our order came out fast. The only major downside is that there’s no public bathroom, which is inconvenient, especially if you’re dining in or have kids. That alone keeps it from being a full 5-star experience. Otherwise, solid stop if you're nearby and know what to expect.

There's a kid who works there who literally looks like he's 14 years old. He doesn't look happy, doesn't utter a single word when I talk to him. How does he get through daily human interaction? Bizarre. This is beyond basic customer service skills, this is social ineptness at its finest. How can you interact with a customer from start to finish without literally uttering a single word? It seems like he's just going through the motions, and wants to finish interactions as quickly as possible.

Almost $40 for a family meal. It's half the price at popeyes across the street with their app deals. That's exactly where we turned around too. Kfc app doesn't even have deals.
