I add 2 polish sausages and up a portion of chili, along with an original banana split
The place was a little dirty and a little out dated But all the employees were hard at work. Great job, guys.The food is great

They were super busy when we came in but we found a seat. Very fast service. I had the chili, it was outstanding. Then I had a small sundae with Nabisco cookies and hot fudge. They have the best tasting ice cream and the best tasting hot fudge. No better place to have dinner and dessert ?

Worse “Hot Fudge” Sunday i ever had!! First of all its chocolate syrup! Not even hot fudge , and so little it barley covers the ice-cream. Ice cream had little frozen bits of ice in the middle ( like it was freezer burn) i grew up on 63rd st.. THAT was a real Gerti’s this place is gross

This place is amazing. Love the food and the staff so kind, helpful and just plain great.

Parking: Its small but next to the restaurant there is another bigger lot.

Kid-friendliness: I used to bring my little boy and loved it.

If I could rate 0 I would I order pay 40$ for food for three people and they get the order wrong and now refuse to remake the corrected items and make my burger fresh cause the first one is now Cold. Had to call police if you pay 40$ for food u should be able to eat all your food together hot not just what they messed up I come here a lot guess it’s worth losing a good 40$ paying customer over a burger and chili

I ordered a breaded fish sandwich and it was crispy with fresh tomatoes and lettuce. I also had an order of chili cheese fries with jalapenos. The fries were home style fries looked like freshly cut with their homemade chili and cheddar cheese with nacho cheese. It was excellent. I have been here many times but haven't left a review. It was due.
