Mama Luigi's Restaurant & Banquets

We were very impressed with this little restaurant when we visited on 1/9/2026. The food was excellent, and the prices were more than reasonable for the quality and portions. We would absolutely recommend returning for dinner soon.

I recently enjoyed the new lunch menu. The chicken parmigiana sandwich had a huge chicken breast on a wonderful ciabatta roll. It was truly delicious. I’m looking forward to exploring the huge lunch menu.

we have ordered the lasagna several times and it is always great!

As an over the road truck driver, I have to say.... this place is hands down, the best Italian restaurant I've been to. Portions are amazing, staff is awesome, and of course..... the food is soooo good.
Can't wait to come back!

PS. If you LOVE cheese... get the stuffed shells with Alfredo sauce. AMAZING!

Fun night at Mama Luigi's. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We ordered pork chop and Samon meals which come with soup or salad, potatoes and veggie. Large portions. Nice, relaxed bar atmosphere with gaming. The Beat 2 band was fun playing generations of music.

First time we've gone there, old time supper club atmosphere , food was good, I would have given more stars but my entree, veal picata was tasty but very dry lacking more sauce.. calamari with the fried spinach was awesome, salad very good. Took tiramisu home also very good

Mamas Sunday Gravy is a great meal that I love to enjoy ! The atmosphere of the restaurant is wonderful and when they have their live music nights it makes for a great date night.

We visit here every time we come to Chicago to visit our aunt. Her and her friends have been customers for years. We have always enjoyed our visit and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately this visit was a total disappointment to say the least. Waited approximately an hour before our food came and most of it was barely warm. Soup was watered down, beef sandwiches were dry on the top and the bun was soggy on the bottom so when you lifted it the beef fell out. Ravioli was over salted. Afterwards we asked to speak to the owner. Waited another over 15 minutes and no one came. On our way out asked to speak to her again and was told she just left. We will never go back. We also had three people who use walkers or canes and this establishment is not set up for the handicapped. No parking, no ramps and carpets that the canes and walker got caught on. Total disappointment!!!

Staffing is always friendly and efficient. We always enjoy our meals. The portions are very generous and always tasty. Also half price wine on Mondays we enjoy.

I used Mama Luigi’s for the first time to cater my grandsons baptism party this past weekend and it was a great experience. My guests enjoyed the delicious food and I enjoyed the great service and courteous and efficient staff. Their buffet party plan packages are fairly priced and there was plenty of food for my guests. I will definitely be using their catering services again in the future and will visit their restaurant in person as well.
