Why did they shut down this place, did I go very often???

We were in the area and stopped by to pick up some dinner after a long day. We were quickly greeted by the cashier. A young lady with a beautiful smile and who genuinely appreciated us being there and engaged in a conversation. This is the town of service and greeting that all should get when dining out. The tacos were amazing as was the service even if we took our food to go. She made my day and our family appreciated the best customer service! We'll definitely be back.

Well I ordered two gorditas one of green chicarrón and one with rajas con queso ask with beans both gorditas and thank God I ask for beans cause the gorditas were so thin almost nothing inside, the dough tasted raw and they’re were cold. Also ordered 4 tacos and they’re were cold too. It’s seems after pandemic every restaurant doing the same thing cuttings corners and the quality of food going worst Comales was my favorite restaurant to eat Mexican food but not anymore this the last time I ordered food or eat there.

If you want dinner and a show, this is the place for you. Of course, I'm being sarcastic. We went at 11pm and there were 4 waitresses just standing around and some dancing which is the show I'm talking about. I understand it's almost closing time, but still. And also there were about 4 cooks in the kitchen that just kept watching us eat, I felt very uncomfortable, made me feel like something was wrong with my food and they were having a blast watching us eat it. I don't understand the hostility from the cooks while the waitresses dance it off. Now about the food, I only recommend it if you're desperate, which we were a little since we had just left a concert. To sum it up, the food sucks, the cooks have stalker vibes, and the waitresses live in a cloud. Of course, we are never going back, and I can say w.e to the service, but the food is sad.
