I didn't expect to find such good food in such a small town, but I was really impressed with BG's. I had some excellent fried shooms and a pretty authentic crawfish poboy from their specials menu, as well as a very fresh Cesar salad. I took home a serving of the cheesecake nachos that was quite tasty too. The service was great and even though I was just passing through town for one night, I'd be tempted to pass through again next time I travel this way.

I’ve been here a few times and just realized I’ve never left a review. BG’s has become one of my favorite places to eat, especially when it’s a nice day for a drive. If you’re a fan of burgers you will love the BG burger. It’s amazing. We’ve had a variety of dishes and they’ve all been very tasty. My husband still talks about the Bloody Mary he got on Fathers Day which was a meal in itself! Service is always prompt and friendly. And the atmosphere is cozy and inviting.

I have to say, the food & the service was top notch! We ordered appetizers, and had an early dinner. Everything was delicious ... not good but DELICIOUS! We went there for dinner for my birthday! The waitress was very personable, she took the time to listen to my grandsons stories. We didn't want for anything because she was 'on it!' The cook (or owner...?) came out to see if we were enjoying our meal! It was awesome! We will go back again!

Excellent food with superb service in a super cool building. We just ate at the bar, and the young woman working did an absolutely outstanding job. She was super attentive and was very friendly. Zero complaints.

We reserved a day for a jeep n eat for our jeep club Duckin Jeepers and this place is so gorgeous on the inside, from the decor, to the music it was a vibe and the waitress was very polite they even had a welcome duckin Jeepers sign on the table for us! Very welcoming atmosphere! The food was amazing especially the cheesecake nachos! I will def return for more! Thank you for letting us come for lunch! ✌? ?

Pros: Really good cocktails and appetizers! Truthfully, if we go back, we would probably do several appetizers and cocktails. Cons:The Kicking Chicken sandwich needed more kick and fresh bacon. The bacon on the sandwich was of a beef jerky texture. It ruined the ability to fully enjoy the sandwich. My dining partners had the pork tenderloin and prime rib sandwiches. Pork tenderloin got a "meh" and prime rib was said to have lots of gristle. Lastly, the Hill Billy bread was wonderful, but either you need to have spoons in your dining utensils provided or at least a spoon in the marinara sauce for dispensing on plates. The shrooms, yummy!! Also, would all businesses please just bury that 3% credit card fee in your prices. We don't want to see that on our bills! Puts a downer on the experience.

My experience. Has somewhat diminished due to the fact that they think alot more of themselves an it is quite humorous. Also discriminating against an employee with some disabilities. And his father stood up for him and not only did they not him... they punish him by barring him from their restaurant. For something he knew nothing about.. I have no respect for anyone who does these things and hypocrisy claiming friendly and family.

Food and service were absolutely amazing! For our appetizer, we svtarted out with the honey butter battered shrimp, then the hillbilly bread, which was way better than I expected. I had the bg burger for my entrée I absolutely loved the bacon jam on the burger. It was definitely a fantastic burger. Then, to finish the meal, the owner came out and asked if we we were going to have dessert. We said, of course, and she said it's on the house, which was greatly appreciated. We had the strawberry shortcake nachos, my goodness, they were outstanding ? . We will definitely be back, great food friendly atmosphere and great service.
