Came here on a recommendation, so swung by Bunker Hill as i headed from STL to Springfield. Unfortunately was told they couldnt serve me as a big order came in and it be an hour preparing. However the menu looked decent priced and there was people dining, so it popular. So i was unlucky or looked funny, hopefully not the later.

pass by often enough. decided to try it out. ordered a lemonade and a hot dog.. nearly 20 minutes later still no hot dog. had to leave. wasn't going to ask for my money back so I just left. even tipped them a couple bucks. looked on line to see if the hot dog was a work of art or something. I'll be passing by this place for now on.

Very nice little local place in a small Midwest town. Well prepared basic, fast food menu. I suppose some items are going to be better than others. We had burger & fries, and corn dog & onion rings. The soft serve ice cream was a nice treat. The young ladies holding things down today are pleasant and effective.

I swung by for a quick lunch, thinking a simple cheeseburger, fries, and a soda would be an easy order—especially since there were only two other people outside. Somehow, it took over 25 minutes to get my food. Twenty-five minutes. For a burger. In a nearly empty restaurant.
If I had known I’d be wasting half my lunch break waiting for a fast-food-level meal, I’d have gone literally anywhere else. And when it finally did show up, the food wasn’t even good. Just bland, and not worth the wait.

Came from the Netherlands, husband raised in Bunker Hill and recommended we go here. The food was very good!

Food is usually good, but the service is ridiculously slow. We ordered online and were quoted a 45 minute wait. Arrived at the quoted time, and we still waited ANOTHER hour and 5 minutes for our food.
