This spot was really good, good people, and cool staff. I had some tacos that were better than expected. (The fried tortillas ones.) The pizza did not let us down. The buffalo wing sauce was a little saulty. All around, out of 10 I give it a 9.3.
I go to Durbins on 79th St. for bingo and food. They have started charging more for certain items, although the menu may say different. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me. Once for the soup price, and now for the fries which are included with the Durbins Sausage Special. I was charged an extra $1.75 (as charged when ordering a sandwich.) When I complained, to the manager, she first said all sandwiches have that charge. I had to show her the menu where it says fries are included. She then says prices can be changed because at the bottom of the menu it says that “prices are subject to change”. So, basically she said that although the menu shows a different price, they can charge more whenever they like. She said all restaurants do this & it is the owner who decides this. Durbins on Robert’s Rd doesn’t do this. Nor have I ever been to any restaurant that does. I will no longer get food from there as I don’t know what the price will be. I’m sorry that I did raise my voice because she really didn’t seem to know the menu & then because I didn’t like her attitude. She proceeded to tell me that’s why she wouldn’t help me.
