After seeing the good reviews for Mott’s we came from about a half hour away to eat here. On a Friday night there were just a handful of customers. We sat at the bar and got fast friendly service from Carrie, the bartender. Between three of us we ordered some curds, a couple burgers and the walleye fish fry. Food arrived pretty quick and it was excellent. Nothing fancy but piping hot and clearly cooked with care. Between the great service, awesome food and the overall dive bar...
First time visit and it certainly won’t be the last. Charming place in the middle of Burlington farmland, very welcoming people at the bar and we were made to feel comfortable almost immediately. A friend of mine, who lives in the area, suggested the Swampwater and I opted for that. Arrived with an empty stomach so we shared an appetizer. Then we shared a mushroom Swiss burger and then we shared a basket of bluegill so our visit was an eating frenzy and we had an absolute delightful...
Nice little place with great food and moderate prices, nice outside area to hang in the summer. Found this place by accident when driving through the area looking for a friends house will be back
