I haven't been to shemwells in quite some time. However, the last two Saturdays I have stopped in and had an absolutely perfect meal. It was just like the good old days! Glad to see it going so well.
I love the barbecue here. I have driven from North Little Rock, Arkansas just to get this amazing barbecue. I have eaten here since the early 70’s, and it is just as good now as it was then. Best barbecue in the world…amazing sauce!
As a child traveling to Paris,TN my father always stopped at Shemwells,Dad from Kentucky,Mom from Paris,best thing I ever tasted,we’re talking late 60’s,to this day I only eat BBQ on toast,I’ll never forget that place,Mark Hagler.
