Shark's Fish & Chicken

Food does taste really good, but it’s a hit or miss depending on how much effort the cook gives I guess. Getting them to answer the phone so you can place an order is never going to happen though.

My wings are always fried to perfection. And sometimes I get extra mild sauce 😌.. My go to when I am cheating on my diet! I recommend.

I literally just left there I ordered a 6 peice with buffalo sauce and ranch as I get on the bus to go home I checked my order thy didn't put anything but the plain chicken with fries. I'll never waste my money there again if they can't give you what your ordered

They forgot to put part of my order in the bag. I immediately went back through the drive through to retrieve my item.thete was no one at the window I blew my horn for five minutes nothing! I tried calling the phone number that was on my receipt no answer! So, it was a waiting game, I was going to just drive off, but know give me what I paid for. Also, they did not know what the concern was they chose to ignore me!!!

They have the worst people working here the cashier stays with an attitude like I made her come to work you should have stayed home or get another job if your unhappy because it’s my money and others that keep you disrespectful butt with a job well not mines anymore and hope everyone else will stop eating here or anywhere where people have this type of attitude and don’t care and one mild sauce for 30 wings is ridiculous with no fries

One of my pet peeves is when people are engrossed in a phone conversation and not paying attention to cooking, especially during business transactions. Last Friday night October 4th 2024, I visited Sharks and ordered my usual wings and shrimp. I made a special request to the young Black lady, to ensure that my fries were freshly prepared. I observed her accurately conveying my instructions to the cooking man on the phone focused on the conversation. However, when I opened my order in the car, I was disappointed to find a mix of old, warm, and cold fries. Upon further inspection, I even discovered some frozen fries. I immediately returned back and spoke to the same young lady who took my order. I explained the issue, and she agreed with me after examining the fries. I emphasized that had the cook been more focused on the order rather than the conversation, the mistake could have been avoided. I kindly requested a fresh order. The situation took a turn for the worse when the cook came over, dismissed my complaint, and insinuated there was nothing wrong with the fries. This disrespectful behavior tried to minimized it, as I had paid for the food and expected better quality. I also pointed out that selling undercooked or cold food may violate Illinois health regulations . The cook and owner's disregard for me and the black community is unacceptable, suggesting a lack of respect for our intelligence. I also discovered that the shrimp were undercooked, prompting me to reheat them in an air fryer. It is evident that Sharks pre-cooks their fries and reheats them over hot grease instead of preparing them fresh. I plan to address this issue further.

I come here all the time! The cashier lady, whoever she is, was SO DAMN rude! I literally asked her the full total- WITH TAX! She literally got mad and was so rude to me. This place needs MAJOR improvement on customer service. You don’t get this kind of service anywhere else. Sharks- do the customers a favor and train the cashiers!
