I went there today 7/22/25 for tacos Tuesday and I can say that their first impression was not the best. To start it took 1 hour and some change to receive my first tequila sunset drink as my waiter was busy being a bartender and not waiting her tables. I then procedure to order 3 tacos, they came out after 30 minutes and was good. I then proceeded to order my second drink, that took another hour to receive, mind you I got here at 7 and didn't get my bill until 9:30pm due to waiting. I then order some tacos to go, well the waiter did not place the order so I wasted 45 minutes for nothing. So in overall for 2 drinks and my to go order I waited 2 hours and 15 minutes. Not sure if I will be returning back anytime soon.

I was referred to this establishment. I was enticed by their Fried green tomatoes with the seventies salsa and the Soul Rolls , that were delicious. The Catfish and Smoked Gouda grits were tasted as will. Nice atmosphere waitress Omni was very informative and nice. To the Chef... thank you kindly đ

Absolutely the best food and customer service on the south suburbs. I had a party of 11. We sat down at a table immediately, the waitress took our drink order and then food order. Everything came out the kitchen fresh and hot. The food smelled delicious and looked delicious. me and my friends did the happy đ dance all afternoon. 5 out of 5 đ

By far one of the worst restaurants experiences I have ever had. First off when me & my friends (3 of us total) sat down it took forever for us to receive a food menu. The waiter came over asking where we ready to order & we told her we didnât have a menu. The manger, Brian, walked over asking were we okay we told him we didnât have a menu. It took them about 20 mins just to bring us a menu back. Than when we ordered our food it took forever for that to come out. We kept asking the waiter & the manager were was it at mind you we order all side dishes. Took forever for the drinks to come as well. We got our food before drinks. I had Mac & cheese & canned yams which I didnât like. I told the waitress that I didnât eat it or like it can they take it off the bill which my food by itself was $10. Youâll think the least they can do is take off the $10 since we had already been complaining that night. She went to ask the manager Brian he said no. So I asked to speak to him. He was very rude and stated I shouldâve complained about it sooner so that I couldâve got something else. I had to explain to him if I didnât like this & if you all took all day to bring SIDE dishes out what makes you think I want to order something else. He than got upset & told me next time say something sooner & I politely told him it wouldnât be a next time. Like be for real you canât possibly think you all service was a 10/10 today and you canât take off $10 off of the bill. I would hope that the owner would reach out to me personally after this because this experience wasnât good at all & it takes a lot for me to complain because I used to work in the restaurant industry and Iâm a firm believer of supporting black owed businesses. Itâs no way our reservations was at 8:30 & we didnât leave till almost midnight not because of the vibes but because of the poor customer service.

Don't support!!! Horrible Service!!! Update: Once I got a hold of the owner he apologized and sent a waiter over at 10:00pm. The waiter explains that she got there at 9pm then hands us a menu that states 10pm-until menu. Even though we been here since 8:30pm. I ordered the Buffalo cauliflower bites which was an -1/10. They taste like they was cooked in old fish grease and the Buffalo sauce was nasty. Vegan btw. My friend ordered the chicken which she stated was ok. We also ordered the Jolly rancher drink which was 8/10.
The owner walked over after getting our food and asked was everything ok. We stated no. The owner then apologized and stated everyone was everywhere đ and nobody knew where they was supposed to be. But your the owner!! This place is distasteful!! He gave us $10 off the bill. Unorganized, Rude, helpless! Will Not Last with this type of service đ

Had my 30 plus something birthday here last night at their new location and Mr Banks definitely did his big one with my party⊠deals were insane and everybody left asking about next time we comin back. Patio was lit and DJ let me dj 2 songs at the end of the nite so I hav a new side hustle lol DJ Cakes! Thank u again birthday was definitely memorable!
