Lainey and Dakota were awesome on my travels to Camp Point!Unfortunately, the holiday weekend means the majority of things were closed, but Shake Shack was awesome and even gave me suggestions on what and where to go to burn sometime.Eventually I settled on a Iced Mohca and it was fantastic!Thanks!Sincerely Mike from Chicago
The ice cream is good and the food is what you would expect at an ice cream place, but the price per serving for ice cream is ridiculously high. You can buy a gallon of ice cream from the grocery store for the price of a hot fudge sunday. Also, don't order a milkshake; it was like I was drinking just milk.
I love it, you may think simple food, simple ice cream but there is more than that. It is very homey and each employee serves your food full of passion and if you live in the town you know what I mean. The kids there are usually from Central School getting ready for college and use the money they earn for college and that is very sweet to me that the family owned business hires young people like they are family. OH and the lime slushies are DELICIOUS!
