I really enjoy this restaurant, it's fantastic! The food is delicious, the service is top notch and the seating is very comfortable. The bag piper, literally piping you into the restaurant is a great thing! But twice now I have tried booking a reservation for six people and failed. Open Table only accepts you too for people for this restaurant (this has to be a temporary glitch) and by calling directly to the restaurant. The phone is not picked up, no one returned the call until over 24 hours had passed from my call. This is very frustrating for a last minute(?) Tuesday @ noon decision to host some friends at a great restaurant on Wednesday night. Please fix this reservation limitation and pick up your phone!

The ambiance is surprisingly cozy considering the restaurant is tucked in a regular strip mall setting but is very warm and inviting. There was a bagpipe player to greet guests on arrival which was a delightful way to start the evening. The service was very good and the food was delicious. I particularly loved the beautiful place settings. It is such a nice departure from plain white plates. Overall it was worth the drive for us to have dinner here and we'll happily recommend to others.

Dining at Balmoral was absolutely fantastic! We went for my boyfriend's birthday and truly explored the menu by ordering an appetizer, some soups, two different entrées, some sides, and a dessert! We also got fantastic cocktails prior to ordering our entrees. Our server was fantastic and made great recommendations and was attentive to our needs, too. We can't wait to go back already!

Everything was fantastic. We mmmm'ed and exclaimed how perfectly our meals were prepared. Moist turkey. Lovely fresh green beans and carrots. Tasty mashed potatoes with I'm guessing white pepper. The rolls: lovely substantial morsels. Just terrific food which we thoroughly enjoyed.
My girlfriend and I have, for the last 8 years, dined out at least once a week at well known excellent restaurants. This is only our fifth visit to Balmoral but that is enough to be confident that it is truly an exceptional experience. The restaurant focuses on Scottish foods, which is in itself unusual. What makes it exceptional is that the food is outstanding. In addition the waitstaff is very well trained and friendly. They made us feel right at home almost immediately. The decor was attractive, consistent with the dishes served, relaxed and comfortable. Balmoral is a bit more expensive than some of the other fine restaurants we frequent. Nonetheless we consider it a great value considering our overall experience with the restaurant. If you are looking for something different and really enjoyable, give Balmoral a try. Be sure to try the Scottish eggs!

This place is a hidden gem. Let's keep it that way! You feel like you're in Europe for sure, and the food was amazing. You feel like there's this little old Scottish lady in the back cooking away. Also, the bagpipe man... he's playing the bangers!

What a fabulous restaurant, we dined here last night... drinks are exquisite, food is divine... We had a salad that was out of this world with Goats Cheese followed by Bangers and Mash for him and Salmon No 1 for me... The rolls and lavender butter were very tasty... the female server was full of personality and smiles, such a sweetie. We highly recommend this great restaurant.

The food and service were delicious and engaging. However my chair had no padding and I sank into the upholstery which at first I was not sure. But after seeing my picture taken by our server clearly showed the problem. This chair should be taken away immediately!!

Highly Recommend this Hidden Gem! The Sunday Roast is well worth the Money! The portions are huge, The Food is fantastic! We haven't had such a great meal in a long time..Be sure to try The Leg of Lamb & The Fish & Chippy.We will definitely be back to try the High Tea Time! Be sure to ask for Justin:)
