Very good overall. I did not care for the red stuffed pepper. It was very bland and tasteless. I would not order it again. My husband loved his fish and chips. I didn't like the Yorkshire pudding - also tasteless. My pea soup, soda bread and vegetables were excellent.

It was our first time at The Balmoral. We were greeted at the door by a bag piper. Awesome touch! The service and food were amazing! We have a new go - to restaurant in the western suburbs.

Amazing food, ambience, and service! We were greeted with glorious and beautiful bagpipes. Ryan (our server) was world class. He was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and attentive to make my 50th birthday a special celebration.
You don’t have to be Scottish to treat yourself to an incredible and delicious evening of rustic cuisine.
This culinary gem is so much more than just an expensive pub (fish & chips with haggis).

Excellent food and service. My wife had the Sunday roast with prime rib and I had the manor house duck. The ham and split pea soup and brussel sprouts were also excellent. We will go back!

Tonight was my first visit to balmoral, and to say it was incredible is an understatement. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting, reminiscent of grandmothers home. I myself had the rabbit, my first time trying such an exceedingly rare to see dish, and it was exquisite. Succulent, herbaceous, and hearty. Paired with a side of roasted potatoes and cauliflower, it’s a dish I won’t soon forget. I highly recommend balmorals to anyone wanting to experience a taste of the old country.

This is, by far, our favorite restaurant for special occasions. Everything is excellent. I think what really grabs us is the exquisite place settings and little matching extras at the table and throughout the restaurant. It makes you feel like you are at someone's estate for an elegant meal.

What a fantastic place! A blast of Scottish Highlands in the states. The menu is quite large with authentic Scottish & English dishes. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Then we were entertained by a bloke playing the bagpipes!
We ordered the pork chop with boiled potatoes & garlic strong beans and the Beef Wellington with mashed taters & carrots.
Delicious meal at Balmoral! We had the ribeye with herb roasted potatoes, broccolini and Brussels sprouts and everything was so good. Also had the lavender cocktail which was unique and so tasty. Highly recommend!

Continues to be a favorite. Great food and liquor menu. AND unlike many places these days have a wonderful dessert menu. There are also several sandwiches on offer. Definitely should be on everyone's list.

We absolutely adore this restaurant. We took my mom here last year for her birthday and decided to go there for Father's Day this year. The service is great, but the food is the true star. Everything from the scotch egg to the pea soup to the wonderful options for Sunday roast dinner and the icing on the cake with dessert. Our favorite is the strawberry meringue. It is decadent and delicious. Do not miss this amazing restaurant... It is at the top of our list and we can't wait to go again.
