New owners are keeping better hours...you have 8 hours available to get food not just 4.5 hours like the previous owners.

Been wanting to try this place for a while, since we have tried multiple Italian places in different states. I just sent my daughter up there to get chicken alfredo. This is by far THE WORST chicken alfredo I have ever eaten! DEF NOT A TRUE ITALIAN RESTARANT!!! The chicken was in little squares like it came from a can, the sauce was very bland and just downright awful! Disgusting and will never eat here again nor refer anyone here! They need to look up Mama D's in Calvery City Kentucky and take notes!! She is true Italian, makes her sauce from scratch!

I’ve always loved the food served at Italian Express. It bothers me to post this, but it is what it is. We stopped in today for a late lunch. I ordered a petite spaghetti Mac. While waiting, my sister and I noticed, in the kitchen, the owner grabbing spaghetti with his bare hands! Do you not own tongs, or gloves? That’s nasty and unsanitary. I will not go back.

I am very disappointed with everything today. I watched the owner go from running cash register to walking in the kitchen and digging our spaghetti out with his bare hands. the curtains allowed us to see what was happening. No gloves. This is not acceptable even if you wash your hands. My dinner partner canceled her order and I kept my order to only get home to find out, it wasn't what I ordered. There is no breakdown of the items on the receipt. Neither of us will ever go back

It's been a while since we have been up that way since moving out of state, but their sweet bread subs are fantastic, especially dipped in some of their cheese sauce. 9 of us went and they were fast, food was delicious and they were super friendly. Thanks for being there, Italian Express!

Almost $15 for a sandwich with literally 1 piece of meat on it. IE use to be good but seems like it keeps going downhill and you get less and less

I don't think I have ever left a bad review before bc I understand that everyone has a off day sometimes, but I ordered Italian express for dinner tonight they had my order ready very quick but the food was awful. I ordered the family lasagna meal and a pizza. The lasagna was cold and had no taste to it at all as well as the pizza. Hopefully it was just a bad night for them bc I have ordered many times and it's usually really good but for $60 tonight was awful.

Ordered carryout. Never again will I eat at this establishment. The lasagna had to be heated when I got it home as well as the garlic bread. The prices were higher than menu prices. Did not even receive the ranch with the salad that I ordered. Been awhile since I ate from here but definitely does not taste well compared to years ago. Very disappointed and would not recommend. Would not give one star but couldn't post the review without posting one.
