What a great gem in Carlinville. Great coffees, mocha, and specialty drinks ! Good tasting pastries ! Broccoli cheddar soup was amazing ! Great place for friends gatherings for lunches. Staff service is friendly and helpful. Thank you !!

We visited this coffee shop just today before my niece went on her college tour. All staff was sweet and nice. I got a iced latte it was amazing! One the best ones I have had in a long time. Also the atmosphere here is so nice and comfortable! It feels like still at your own comfy house.

I really love Hawthorn!! Their sandwiches are soooo good!! I recommend the jailhouse sandwich! I might also be a little addicted to their coffee free drinks!

This place was AMAZING! The staff was so friendly and the atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for just sitting and having a conversation with friends. The prices are reasonable and I will definitely be going back frequently!

Ask anyone and they'll tell you just how great Hawthorn is! They are always trying to shake things up and make improvements. When it comes to drinks they like to make them tasty and pretty to look at. Their pastry case is always overflowing with delicious treats, and you won't find them anywhere else! Their beakfast and lunch menus are both delicious! Best of all, they make you feel welcome!

A cornerstone and staple of the Carlinville Town Square.. Great brews, people and old vintage atmosphere.. especially, on a crisp fall or winter morning.. or iced in spring and summer products.. thank you for entire crew helping energizing Macoupin County Locals and visitors near and from a far!

A great place on the square of Carlinville. They have a great bagel sandwich and a large variety of drinks and syrups. This place has a lot of seating.
