Warm and welcoming atmosphere, very helpful and courteous staff with great food! So far I've tried the steak enchiladas and the huevos rancheros, both were excellent along with an ice cold Modelo Especial on tap! Will definitely go again!

While visiting the area for a few days, this was the best restaurant I had on the trip. It was also recommended by my local Airbnb hosts.The menu had meal and drink for every budget, I choose to get the “highest end” meal just to see what their best looked like. Pics attached. It was very good. I live in Chicago and try tons of new restaurants all the time, this place is a gem? in Carlinville. I recommend the Hawaiian Fajitas and the Passionfruit Margarita??

My niece and I both loved our dinner at this restaurant. Today was our first time there but we will be returning. The food was good as well as the atmosphere and the people. Muy bonito!
Absolutely magnificent. My Aunt and I went on a drive and stumbled upon this little gem today. Everything was wonderful! The restaurant was clean, the food was awesome, and the service was superb. We will be back soon!

While visiting family in Carlinville, I joined some friends at Potrillo's Mexican Grill. I have dined at this little gem of a restaurant each time I am in town and it never disappoints. The chips and salsa keep flowing to the table. Margaritas are awesome. We had the enchiladas, gigantic burrito, tacos, and tamales - all served with delicious rice and beans. The staff is extremely friendly, and the owner is visible and working alongside the rest of the staff. So happy to have this venue in Carlinville.

This is the second Mexican restaurant in town. It is located in a section of an old remodeled church, and not in the main part of town. The food and service are both good. Bright dinning area. Although interior seems a little dated. I enjoy eating here.
