I'm probably one of the last few of the original Taylors still alive. My Dad told me that there were two brothers who owned the business and, somehow, one brother took over and then sold the business. Nevertheless, I love all chili. My Dad used to order a case every now and then and my family always enjoyed it. Years ago, my Dad and I went to the parlor in Carlinville. We saw a guy behind the counter who looked just like us. Went there as a child with my grandparents, who had a farm in Plainview. Was last in the restaurant in 2005 after my Grandma passed. Time to buy another case and find out what the Habanero variety is like.
