The first time there, I will not be going back
Food is overly portioned. I got the French onion soup, and the cheese was not even melted. The steak was overcooked, my fires were the hottest thing served, and the overall appearance of the restaurant was not appealing to the eye. The waitress was wonderful. It was unfortunate.

Kinda old fashioned restauraunt; however, the food was good and service was nice as well. I had breakfast-potato pancakes combo with eggs and turkey sausage and I really liked it. The potato pancakes were seasoned really well. Nice place to stop by for a meal.

I had the Grandma's French Toast Combo, it was delicious. Never had sourdough French toast before but this was delicious. Not dry at all, very tasty.

Breakfast portions are very fair and food quality has been consistent overall. lunch is pleasurable and dinner is good as well. Favorite thing so far has been the shrimp dejonge.

Order off Uber Eats and never get the right order. I’m sure the fries are good, but wouldn’t know. The receipt is correct, the order is not….again. Not the first time but definitely the last.

Awful. Rude people. They offer a bowl of soup with any sandwich but Don’t ask for bread with your soup they will charge you for it. I won’t be back.

Sorry took off two stars since they seem to nickel and dime everything from bread to dessert. Food was filling and hot. Great portions. Service was top notch. Very welcoming. Just thought it was silly to get dessert with theeal was extra 5 and change. For bread (most places give you free) $1.50. Wont be back sorry. And wasnt that good for the long trip and extra costs.

Great restaurant and great atmosphere! I would highly recommended you get the gyro platter or breakfast burrito. I think this is a hidden gem in Carol stream! Bring your family here you won’t regret it. Plenty of parking around the building.
