Entree Kitchen

I am going to come right out and say it. I DO NOT like to cook. I don’t like having to come up with ideas, shopping, chopping, touching raw meat, seasoning, spending too many minutes in the kitchen, doing the numerous dirty dishes and pots and pans it creates, only to have the food scarfed down in less than 10-15 minutes. I know that it is relaxing and enjoyable for many but it is not my cup of tea. But I need to and want to eat healthy so I needed a plan. In the past I have tried Blue Apron and Hello Fresh. Although it basically saves you from shopping, all the other elements that I do not like remain. So, I tended to eat out a lot, not sit down restaurants, but nonetheless food that was not the healthiest or inexpensive.
Recently I remembered that there is a local Mom who has a company called Entrée Kitchen in Carol Stream (just 20 minutes from Geneva). I had ordered from them many years ago and enjoyed the freshness, simplicity and taste of the meals. I got back in touch and have now been ordering regularly since October 2024. I now spend anywhere from 1 minute (crockpot meals) to about 20 minutes in the kitchen per meal and I am eating flavorful and unique meals.

Been using Entree Kitchen to pick up dinners there for years. Delicious, quick and easy. Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make your meal prep easy with great variety. This is not a restaurant.

We use Entree Kitchen for our monthly meals, with their membership plan. It’s wonderful. I find it’s helping tremendously with our meal planning and budget. Our per plate may seem high, but when you look at how much the meat alone is at the store, you can’t beat it! It’s just my husband and I, so we get our choices as “splits,” allowing for two three-serving entrees each. So, for my monthly membership, I get 8 entrees, each split into two three-serving sizes for preparing, which allows for at least 18 meals for the month (sometimes, my husband has seconds!)

I can't say enough good things about this meal prep service! The food is delicious, the service is prompt, and the convenience is truly a game-changer. No more stressing about what to cook or running to the store, everything is ready to go and made with care. Diane and her team go above and beyond, and it really shows. I appreciate their hard work so much. Honestly, Our family could shout it from the mountaintop, this service is amazing! Thank you for bringing homemade meals back to our dinner table.

Highly recommend this meal prep establishment! I purchased a monthly membership for 12 meals for 4 people. Portions are large, several new meal options each month, delicious recipes and extremely easy to prepare. Love the ease of it.

Diane and team tailored our culinary experience by meticulously pre-arranging breakfasts, lunches, and snacks for our group of 20 on a 4 day ski trip. This thoughtful organization allows us to concentrate solely on enjoying our time together, free from the hassles of meal preparation and clean-up, with the only requirement being to preheat the oven when necessary.

This place is a gem. I used to go and prep meals there with a neighbor. Fun. Then covid, ooops, no inside work. But the staff pivoted and now you can pick up wonderful meals to cook at home. The meat has always been first rate. The flavorings clever and generous. Nothing skimpy. All thoughtful. I’m grateful for this fresh, yummy option.

They have some of the best wings I have ever had in my life. Cocktails were also very good.
