Went to Ethio Beans for a Father's Day dinner. Food was really good. Lots of good options for vegetarians. We ordered the veggie combo and food was plenty for 4 people. In spite of them being short staffed that evening, the staff did a great job of getting us the food on time.
The staff was extremely friendly and great service
I went here for the first time today, they are amazing!!! I had the best dinner ever! And it was still hot after a 30 minute drive! They have vegan and gluten free options which made me want to go!
Would give this place a 5 if I could. Recommend the Veggie combo and Tegabino shiro
Great food! Friendly service!
We ordered the mix platter and it is a fantastic choice for anyone who wants to try this cuisine for the first time. But for us this was the second time trying out Ethiopian food so we kind of knew what we were ordering.
Their veggie options were great and we loved their chicken curry.
Our 6 year old devoured through the injera bread with their curries.
Coming back again for sure!
Friendly and helpful staff. Very tasty food.
Great food at amazing prices!
We were very surprised to find this delightful Ethiopian restaurant in the western suburbs. The lunch special was a plate with injera and five different selections; all tasty and not too spicy. The coffee afterwards was special. The owner was friendly and helpful. We want to go on a weekend to try the lunch buffet.
Absolutely divinely nourishing food. I got the vegan veggie platter and it was so filling and healthy. The coffee here is incredible as well. Great service, God is present in this building!
Authentic food at fair prices. Owner/staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions.
I dined in for this meal and enjoyed my vegan veggie platter. The platter was fresh with a variety of foods like potatoes and collard greens, well seasoned. My only complaint is lack of ambiance. It is a big resturant but it isn’t very welcoming due to the way the furniture is laid out. I also thought the resturant could have been a little cleaner overall

I had such a fantastic experience at Ethio Beans! If you love bold flavors, rich traditions, and warm hospitality, you need to check this place out. We started with sambussa, which came with a flavorful dipping sauce (I think it was awaze), and it was delicious! For our main meal, we got two veggie combos with injera, misir wot (spiced lentils), alicha wot (mild stew), gomen (collard greens), and cabbage, plus a side of alicha potatoes with carrots. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and the misir wot was my favorite! We nearly finished the whole platter, but what we took home was just as good the next day. One of the best parts of the experience was the Ethiopian coffee, which they served with burning incense—not only did it smell amazing, but it was also the best coffee I’ve ever had. I also ordered Ambo water, and the owner smiled and said, “Ah, you know!” which made me feel like I really knew what I was doing. 😆 They also have a small shop next door full of Ethiopian spices, groceries, and traditional servingware, which was such a cool surprise! If you’re looking for incredible Ethiopian food and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend Ethio Beans! Can’t wait to go back—next time, I have to decide if I get the coffee again or try the tea! ☕
They have THE best vegan food!! The staff is amazing ..The owner is super sweet ! Highly recommend.
Food is amazing, service spectacular. Loved the atmosphere. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Do not forget to try the coffee, perhaps the real highlight here

We got the Ethio Beans Combo plate and it has a little of everything. was way too much food for two of us. the sour bread (Injera) was so good and not overly sour.
the Lentils (misir wot) were so flavorful. loved that so much.
they had a chicken dish (Duro Wot) with a ton of curry spices that was perfectly cooked.
my partner really loved the beef strips (Alacha Minchet Abish).
the owner was super nice and told us about the stuff we are.
they have a buffet 12 to 4pm on the weekends so we will come back for that.
