I dined in for this meal and enjoyed my vegan veggie platter. The platter was fresh with a variety of foods like potatoes and collard greens, well seasoned. My only complaint is lack of ambiance. It is a big resturant but it isn’t very welcoming due to the way the furniture is laid out. I also thought the resturant could have been a little cleaner overall

I had such a fantastic experience at Ethio Beans! If you love bold flavors, rich traditions, and warm hospitality, you need to check this place out. We started with sambussa, which came with a flavorful dipping sauce (I think it was awaze), and it was delicious! For our main meal, we got two veggie combos with injera, misir wot (spiced lentils), alicha wot (mild stew), gomen (collard greens), and cabbage, plus a side of alicha potatoes with carrots. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and the misir wot was my favorite! We nearly finished the whole platter, but what we took home was just as good the next day. One of the best parts of the experience was the Ethiopian coffee, which they served with burning incense—not only did it smell amazing, but it was also the best coffee I’ve ever had. I also ordered Ambo water, and the owner smiled and said, “Ah, you know!” which made me feel like I really knew what I was doing. 😆 They also have a small shop next door full of Ethiopian spices, groceries, and traditional servingware, which was such a cool surprise! If you’re looking for incredible Ethiopian food and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend Ethio Beans! Can’t wait to go back—next time, I have to decide if I get the coffee again or try the tea! ☕

We got the Ethio Beans Combo plate and it has a little of everything. was way too much food for two of us. the sour bread (Injera) was so good and not overly sour.

the Lentils (misir wot) were so flavorful. loved that so much.

they had a chicken dish (Duro Wot) with a ton of curry spices that was perfectly cooked.

my partner really loved the beef strips (Alacha Minchet Abish).

the owner was super nice and told us about the stuff we are.

they have a buffet 12 to 4pm on the weekends so we will come back for that.

Amazing authentic Ethiopian food! They also have milkshakes in case the food is too spicy. We got the combo which is great for people new to Ethiopian food - it has a variety of foods on a large injera plate. Two of the foods on the combo platter were spicy but the other ones were not. Great little hidden dinner date spot!

our server was “Brehani” , not sure of the spelling, but she was excellent and provided great recommendations off the menu. Much like we were, she seemed happy to share the culture, it’s a very nice break from the typical dining experience. All around a beautiful way to spend you evening…MUST HAVE THE COFFEE AND TAKE A BAG HOME. Go here people!!!

The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious! We tried the combo plate and the sambusas, both of which were fantastic.
Favorites included the doro wot chicken, the beef tepe, and the greens which were bursting with flavor.
I recommend coming by and trying a little of everything like we did to see what you like, there’s a flavor for every palate.
A winning first experience with Ethiopian food!
