We have patronized many many sushi restaurants over the years. We often have traveled far from Carol Stream to get really fresh sushi. Then we found Lili, it is a suburban treasure. The food, service and staff are exceptional. The sushi is fresh daily and miles better and above the common sushi places around the suburbs. The owners care about their client's experience and provide a real nice atmosphere with a variety of both excellent sushi as well as ramen. 5 Stars all around!!!

I just ordered the sushi here. There are a lot of spicy options for sushi and I don’t eat spicy so i ordered the Godzilla roll, Philadelphia, and one other roll. Unfortunately some of the Philadelphia roll had old salmon. It was okay sushi overall nothing too great about it. And service wasn’t the best either.

I've been here twice so far and the food is excellent. The sushi is fresh and well portioned. Mochi ice cream is elegantly presented on the plate.
This time, I had their miso tonkatsu ramen with pork and it was very good. The noodles were cooked perfectly, pork was tender and flavorful, and the soup base was piping hot. None of the ingredients were overly seasoned or salted. It was perfect for a cold autumn night.
The service could be worked on a little more since there was only one waitress. I was standing around for about five minutes before I was seated and there was minimal communication about when my food was coming or if it was being made at all.
Atmosphere and vibe are spot on for a Japanese place. Seating is limited and there's not much space to walk around. It's a small place but I definitely recommend it if you're looking for sushi or ramen in the area. The prices are decent but albeit on the pricey side.
