Papa Ray's Pizza and Wings (Gary Ave & W Elk Trail)

Came in just after lunch rush probably about 5 minutes to 1. All the lights were out in the front it looks like they had no electricity except for the cooler that seem to be working. Waited about 5 minutes at the front counter, heard someone on the phone in the back but no one came up to greet me or to ever help me. So I walked out feeling very dissatisfied.

Pizza are trash taste like the school pizza they used to give us for lunch that came in the box. Garbage 🚮

Came back after 2+ years due to bad experiences, only to find out there's a new owner who's absolutely carrying this place. Fantastic service, and food. Definitely a step up and worth a chance if you've not been here in a while.

The monster slice is our go to for lunch. When I say monster slice...it's exactly what it means. What a bang for your buck. Awesome food, great family owned place. Support local, family owned businesses.

Two stars cause the service was fine and it was ready on time. But, we ordered Mac n cheese and some bread sticks and are sad to say it's basically inedible. I'm sure their pizza is good, but I don't think I'll trust them with pasta again. The pasta is dry, extremely greasy, and just reaked of pizza grease. Like, the Mac n cheese somehow had a pizza sauce/grease taste and reminded my husband of hamburger helper. The bread sticks were dripping with grease and didn't come with marinara or anything like that. We each had a couple noodles and put it away. I'm currently trying to doctor it up to try and salvage it for a lunch today and no matter what I do it just tastes like pizza grease and Italian seasoning.

I really love Papa Ray's Pizza! The pizza is always hot, fresh, and tastes amazing. They don't hold back on the toppings, and the crust is just perfect. The people working there are nice and the service is fast.
Whether I'm grabbing a quick bite or ordering for the family, it's always a great experience. You can tell they care about their food and their customers. Highly recommend!

If I can leave the service at a 0 I will.. working at the hospital we ordered pizza they forgot the veggie pizza called and spoke with Miguel and the customer service he had was very aggressive he was cutting me off telling me what I said and didn’t say and how he has a recorded phone conversation how is it that when I ordered before I got more for less price but paid over 60$ and they forgot a pizza he is very rude very sassy and I will take me and my nurses money else where his phone etiquette is TERRIBLE… what happened to customers come first

Well… your response lets it be known that you’re MIGUEL himself you can not and will not tell me how orders previous from you all before was not how your phone etiquette was to me. You’re very defensive in this review and it shows. WHOEVER MIGUEL IS WAS VERY RUDE AND I BARELY CAN GET A WORD OUT WITHOUT BEING CUT OFF…doesn’t matter what you’re saying the combination is my jobs spends a lot of money with your establishment and how is it that we got more for less and less for more. YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE AND OUR BUSINESS WILL GO ELSE WHERE…. Papa Saverios pizza is wayyy better anyways with customer service that’s top tier

Great place to get pizza, wings, and pastas. Bruschetta pizza was a fantastic and refreshing change from a normal pizza. Paired with the pasta, I had a great lunch.
