I am not a fan of coulis, but their dough pastries are really good. Chocolate is also worth trying for sure!
Can’t wait for them to open at their new location.

The pastries look really nice but ended up tasting not good. One was too dry and the other had a weird after taste. The owner though was really nice and caring for his customers. The price for the desserts are not worth it for the texture and flavor. Ended up paying close to $10 per mini dessert.

My wife and I stopped in yesterday to get her some treats for her birthday. We were greeted as we walked in and made to feel welcome. The desserts all looked incredible, and the owner (I believe) explained each item that he had so we knew our way around. I can't explain how nice he was! We ended up getting three desserts, but I was tempted to give 5 stars before even eating them because of how sweet and helpful he was. We ate them all last night though- incredible. I really loved the almond financier, but all were delicious. Definitely try this place!
*Edited to add, I have been going regularly since posting this review. I just got some more today for my birthday weekend, and ate the Hazelnut Paris Brest and it was the best dessert I've ever had. I have the almond financier and mango coulis dessert waiting for me, and I can't wait. We might go back before they close for another Paris Brest though, because wow.

The coffee is always good, and there is often something new to try that I haven't had before that isn't the same old food chain that we keep getting more of here in the suburbs. I love to drop by and chat with the owner a bit and to get some work done. In my opinion, the pastries are made with care and are a better treat than specialty donut or cookie shops.

What divine pastries! I have been there many times buying croissants and specialty desserts. I can tell there is effort, attention to detail, and expertise behind each piece. It is edible art! So delicious? A must try!

Canales are amazing. Can’t believe there is a bakery this far out west that makes them.
