I found this gem by chance. The food is beyond amazing, I had the fermented seafood pho. OMG!!! The flavors were so good, and nothing was overpowering. You know you're in a great place when the owner is greeting customers like they're part of the family. This will definitely be a return visit the next time I'm in town.

Ordered oxtail pho as well as snow crabs that had two kinds of sauces mixed (usually customers choose only one sauce between butter garlic and pepper sauce but we asked for both and they came mixed, which we pleasantly enjoyed. The server is so friendly and took care of us well.Oxtail pho had meat that was on a little tougher side to our taste but still we thoroughly enjoyed all the food- the broth, the noodles, and all.After we were done eating we took a family photo with a nice photo friendly setting at the entrance which was a plus. With this we could make a lasting memory for years to come.

Do you like Bob's Burgers? This spot is essentially a real life version but vietmanese style.We come here often and at this point I've lost count how many times. We are never disappointed with our food, no matter what we order. Though it's hard to stay from our favorites because they're so good and we crave it until we come back, we always try to try something else. And it's always good!I never get sick from here and I'm a sensitive eater now a days.Best food, best people.Parking: Some spots in front, but some tight to the side of the building. Pho Dac Biet was excellent. Broth was more on the sweet/savory side, adding some jalapeños and squeeze of lime balanced everything nicely. Only reason for 4 star is would've liked more meat. I'd recommend and will return.

Tasty House1 is a little gem in Carol Stream by the Fountain View center. They have good Vietnamese food. I've tried their banh and some of their other dishes. They are very friendly and have plenty of seating inside. There is a waiting area with some high tops if you only want smoothies. I don't love their smoothies but they have a lot of options and they are pretty tasty. I get that pork is a huge part of Viet cuisine, and I am a fan but I wish they would have some easy non pork options. Like, they have a sizzling steak but it comes with pork sausage. If I don't eat pork, I either have to omit it, or ask for it on the side. But they don't really do it on the side. Also, they support the local town events, but usually they only bring pork spring rolls. Amazing, but they do sell veggie rolls. I guess they figure it won't be as popular. But it's like having pepperoni pizza only, and not cheese, you know? Anyway, still a great place

I’ve tried pho at many different places in the Seattle area, throughout Florida, and throughout the Chicago area, and this is by far the best pho I’ve ever had. Their broth and their homemade chili oil in particular are outstanding. They also don’t use any MSG, which is nice for those trying to avoid it. If you’re interested in a dessert, their bing su is amazing as well. I could not recommend this place enough!Vegetarian options: The vegan pho is amazing as well!
