We traveled from the McHenry area (an hour and a half drive) to try this place for my birthday. It was well worth the drive!
The fresh bread is what drew us in, and it does not disappoint. We ordered the Char Sui, Pork Belly, and Roast pork belly for the Bahn Mi. We ordered a Vietnamese coffee as well as the pork spring rolls.
The Bahn Mi bread is out of this world! Crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside and not at all chewy. The pork spring roll was fantastic and the sauce served with it tied it all together. The Tien signature coffee (Vietnamese coffee) was nutty, strong, and rich, as a Vietnamese coffee should be.
We would again travel here!

Solid banh mi. Bread was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The combo of ingredients inside the sandwhich came together nicely, you can tell everything was fresh. Coffee was great too, good pairing to go with a delicious sandwich.

I ordered 5 pork bellies and 5 special with extra pate. They gave me 2 free bánh mì for the total of 12. We then want the roasted pork for the two free bánh mì.
Let me say this. I gave them the tip and 5 stars. Not only the banh mi are so delicious - crispy, tasty - but the way they package each of the banh mi in its own box and they serve them with respect and care.
I went there twice and I will come back every time I got a chance to shop at the Saigon Market.

This place is an enigma. The food is good, but is impossible to order delivery from them. When you call in to order, they say to use Grubhub, so we tried to order that way. All other applications we tried to use like DoorDash and Uber Eats say they aren’t accepting orders, but Grubhub said we could order. That said, when we ordered, we waited 20 min, and Grubhub said our driver was on the way. Then with only 5 min left until the driver’s alleged arrival, the order was cancelled by the restaurant. It is excessively difficult trying to order from this place, which could not be more annoying.

So many choices of banh mi and every one of them is so delicious! The bread is such good quality as well as all of the ingredients inside! The service is excellent too!

Got 6 sandwiches (5+1), several varieties. Bread and veggies were great. Could be 5 stars but the meat in the sandwiches are very little. The balance of the overall sandwich is off due to the lack of meat. Just a little more meat would be perfect!

Came here for lunch with my husband. It was delicious. Also a pleasant surprise that they had a Thursday $6 banh mi special. Their presentation was very nice and the restaurant was clean. Ordering was easy and our meal came out quickly. Will definitely be back!

This place is what I have been looking for, the most authentic Banh Mi and Coffee! I travelled to California, Texas, Florida, Missouri to find my favorite Banh Mi and coffee places, and the place is definitely my top favorite one now, for BOTH: Banh mi and Coffee! They nailed every single aspects, fast and friendly customer service; convenient, neat, lovely, and clean presentation of the packaging; scrumptious Banh Mi and Coffee. Strongly recommend grilled pork Banh Mi and roasted pork belly Banh Mi, along with salted coffee! You surely can’t go wrong with any of those items. This place will be on my must-visit list whenever I visit Chicago!
