I enjoy all of the Brunch Cafes in the area and was elated when the one in Carpentersville opened. The have numerous items on there menu and portions are substantial. You can't go wrong.

Wish I could give more stars but had a terrible dinning experience on our first time here. We arrived around 11am Sunday morning and were able to be seated right away. We waited 15 minutes to be approached by our server only for her to say “I’ll be right with you”. That should have been the first red flag. After she got time to greet us and get us drinks she took another 10 minutes to come back with our drink order and once dropped off she said she’d be back to take our order even though we were already ready. Fine we gave her some time. She continued to go back and forth on her section checking other tables and 15 minutes later came back to once again say she’d be back to take our order. After finally coming back and taking our order she disappeared and continued going up to the host stand to gossip and stand there and the table right behind us were waiting to order there food because after 20+ minutes of being sat she still hadn’t taken their order either. Our food came out at a recent time given the fact she placed our order at the same time as her other 2 big tables she had. Once food arrived and when asked for more coffee and a water she took 20 minutes to come back and had to ask the bussboy for what we had already asked her for. Table right behind us as well needed things and she took 20 minutes to come back with. As we were eating our food she got sat with a large party and she took care of them right away expect that she took another 10/15minutes to come back and take their order at this point my family was done eating as well as the 2 other tables behind and in front of me. Asked her for boxes and she never came back with. All 3 tables had to ask the bussboy for boxes and the check. If it wasn’t for the guys help we would have never gotten any service. Manager seemed to check on tables around us and never checked on us or else we would have brought all of this to her attention. As someone who’s family works in restaurants and who’s worked in the industry her self we tried to give it a chance but left very disappointed. The food is great but the service needs work. We would love to give it a second chance but hope that the service is better by then. We were not the only table who had terrible service by this server. If she can’t handle 4+ tables then she shouldn’t be given that many tables so she can be more attentive.

We ordered Brunch Cafe for our lunch meeting. Delivery was right on time. The salad and fruit were fresh. The wraps and sandwiches were huge! They gave us a beautiful tray of cookies with a cupcake in the middle. Everything was delicious. The meeting guests had many complements as it was different than the typical lunch orders we've done in the past. Will definitely order from them again!
Dietary restrictions: They packed my gluten free sandwich separately from the rest of the catering order.

The dining room was spotless. The waitress was attentive, nice, and genuinely seemed to care. The hostess was everything a hostess should be. The food was preprepared and under microwaved, parts were hot, parts were cold. After bringing it to the attention of the staff they brought it back warmer. But honestly it wasn't very good. We paid, left and ate elsewhere.

Kailie was a great waitress really made me feel welcome, along with being an awesome and friendly server. I will forsure be back at this spot when I'm in the cvile area, also thanks for recommending the bluebliss pancakes they were delicious.

Ordered avocado turkey panini. Panini had little to no meat. Sandwich was hard let grilled for more than 10seconds. Had no grill marks. Sandwich was soggy. Nothing was done to fix it besides offer to remake. I however I had no time to wait for a second time.

Unfortunately, we were not served. We waited while we saw three different tables waited on, but they came in after us. We saw the staff look at us but never came over even to ask about coffee or water. Being a person of color, it felt uncomfortable being in the establishment, so we left with no interaction with the staff except for the initial greeting and seating. The restaurant was not busy, so the service should have been better.
