This place is not what the photos show on google. They were sold out of half the menu, didn’t have coke or Pepsi, just Diet Coke. Asked for cheese with my fries and the lady said the “last one sold yesterday”. Last one? You microwave it up individually? Glad that wasn’t available, gross. Ordered a gyro, she turned on the gyro heater to make our order, which tells me the gyro meat stack was just sitting there in room temperature for who knows how long. This was one of the best meals I have ever eaten! Not only was the food delightful, the service was phenomenal, and the stories behind the courses were thoughtful and interesting. The attention to detail in every part of the course preparation and presentation was amazing!

Pretty sure this place is never open. But we put in an order on their website because it said they’re open on Saturdays. Went there to pick up the food and they’re closed. Kept calling them the following week and they never answer.

Essentially nothing left of what was its former glory. The menu is down to 7 items. No Greek anything. Wanna pizza puff ? Or you’re about the broken soda fountain. No saganaki like I came in for, no Kabobs. This place is sadly done. I’m sorry as I used to eat here many times a week when I lived in the are.

It makes me sad to leave this review, but I used to live in Carpentersville, and this place was a hidden gem with outstanding food. Seriously, their meze platter fed my whole family and was absolutely ridiculously good. Fast forward a couple of years, and now they only offer the standard gyro meat you can get anywhere else. Fresh cut fries have been replaced with frozen. I attempted to order several different chicken dishes that were on their menu like kebabs, but was told they no longer have fresh chicken because it spoils too fast. Mmmm My wife and I were always talking about how we missed this place, and now at least I no longer have to miss going here, because we sadly won't be returning.

what a joke. ordered 3 gyros, fries and a salad. got order comfirmation number, went in to pick it up, they said "we cancelled" our order which was not true at all, so we asked if we could still order the food and they told us they were out of everything that we ordered. kinda funny your called Gryadiko and you dont have gyro meat, let alone lettuce for salads, or let alone fries... I guess well take a straw and chew on it, but we didnt see any of those either. sadly i had to give one star but i gladly would say ZERO

Two years ago I ate here and the food was good. That was the last time I was actually able to eat here. Since then, I've visited three times on different days during operating hours and each time they were closed. This is disappointing since there aren't many places like this in the area.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Isabel went above and beyond tonight!! Shortly before closing I reached the location to find out they had actually closed hours before. Isabel had been there later than planned and stayed just a bit longer to ensure my dad had the chicken kabobs he’s been craving!!! ❤️❤️ AMAZING FOOD AND AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Bad service! Will not go here anymore! Went in yesterday on 12-28 and Ordered a meal and ordered extra fries and didn’t even get enough fries for both orders. Not fair how I’m paying so much money for something and I don’t get enough! And they also have rude people!
