Love the honey bee latte!! Staff is friendly and inside is nice to get work done!
Every time I enter this space I’m struck by the strong sewage smell. The times I’ve stayed I’ve been disappointed by the lackluster service and my bland coffee.
What a horrible service this morning I walked in there asking for iced latte and a scone and she made it seem like she was the only one working at the store and had a horrible attitude not friendly at all. I've been going to conscious cup in Barrington for a very long time and never have I ever experienced a shity service so that's the last time I'll ever step my foot to the store in Cary. Telling me she short-handed because she's training someone there but there was no one at the store and I was the only one getting serviced yet she still made it sound like she's serving 10 people and when I asked for my scone she made it sound like putting the glaze on it was such a big deal and when she gave it to me she just threw it on the counter. HORRIBLE ATTITUDE
I placed an order, no one there, and waited 20 minutes. A wave of online orders came and they spent 10 minutes prepping without pulling a single shot of espresso.
Left for my train, wasted money. Incompetence.
First time here and I stopped in for a coffee. The menu is on the back wall so I stepped to the side to see what I wanted. I went to get back In line and when I got to the cashier you could barely hear him speak with the volume of customers talking so he had to repeat a lot of what he said. They don’t make frozen coffees or cold foam so that itself was a bummer. 2 other employees were in the back trying to fix a machine while 20 orders of cups of ice where just building up. The cashier finally asked for help but even then it took over 10 mins to get a simple coffee. This is not the place for me and if you don’t mine waiting 10-15 for coffee maybe this is the place for you. Coffee for 16 oz is almost $8.00!!!
Imagine after you order your coffee you find a cut in the cup so you take it back to the coffee shop to be handed another cup to put inside the damaged cup. You ask if it’s going to get remade after it’s been placed in the cup to not only find it wasn’t remade just poured into a larger cup size with whip cream added on top.
Incredible coffee. Great people running the shop. Simply the best in McHenry county.
I love coming here Carissa is so awesome as is everyone one else.
Very cute place! I stopped on the way to work and was greeted by a friendly front counter cashier. She suggested some great non-coffee items. I got the Vanilla Rooibos tea and their cheddar bacon spinach biscuit/scone. I will definitely be back for both. Thanks!
I really appreciate the great baked gluten free items. However, I paid $15 for a latte and muffin and the coffee was just horrible...undrinkable. I dumped the entire thing and stopped at McDonalds.
At $15 I got one average sized muffin. Per the packaging the muffin was 2 days old. I won't be back.
I love coffee but I don't love paying ridiculous prices for it- I even think Starbucks is overpriced. This place charged extra for everything including getting your coffee iced! I paid $20 for 2 coffees, which is practically highway robbery. Luckily for them, I was in such a hurry that I didn't pay attention to anything but grabbing my drinks and going. To their credit, both beverages (warm salted caramel spice latte & caramel vanilla iced latte) were delicious. Coffee is strong. Never going back though :(

I was going to buy something but left instead. Kind of weird that they don't have price tags on anything. Staff wasn't very welcoming either.
Coffee and food are delicious.
Staff could work on hospitality. My first visit to this location, I parked next to Cucina and didn't realize the door facing that block is not "the normal customer entrance" as there was zero signage indicating that I should enter through another door. Nothing that says " Not a customer entrance" or " please use other door." Instead of one of the employees greeting me upon entering (like they do at other CC locations) and politely informing me (and/or apologizing for the lack of signage), they immediately corrected me with quite the harsh attitude. This doesn't necessarily encourage me to return. Might want to review good customer service guidelines with the Sunday afternoon staff. Other than that, we are glad to have a great coffee shop in the downtown area.

Stopped in because I was early to my train. Employees were friendly, and explained the specials and menu to me. Drink was done fast, and is very delicious! Good selection of drinks and food, including some amazing looking scones. Atmosphere was great as well! 10/10, would absolutely go again.
