Afghan Cuisine Restaurant

The food is very authentic and flavorful. I started to take my friends and co workers there after I took my family there. The owner and servers are very friendly. The quality and flavor of the food is consistently high every time I've eaten at Afghan Cuisine. The Mantu is my favorite along with the Afghani Rice with Lamb. The Egg plant and Lamb is also extremely delicious. The nan bred is also very authentic and perfect for the dishes. If you want to try traditional and authentic food from this region of the world, definitely give this establishment a try. The Price is also very reasonable. I spent $100 for a party of 5 and still had leftovers.

Coworkers and I tried this restaurant for lunch and we were blown away! We bought 4 different dishes and shared. So flavorful and cooked perfectly. The menu has something for everyone and the portions are huge. Service and ambience were great too. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Fantastic food, generous portion, and great service! It was our first time trying Afghan dishes, yet this easily became one of our favorite restaurants in Champaign-Urbana! We tried Bolani, lamb kebab, eggplant, and dough, and we loved every bite of the dishes. We'll return soon with more friends!

Upon first arriving, we were greeted and warned that the wait for the food would be a while. I appreciated the warning, and was promptly seated. I have been waiting to try this restaurant for some time so I didn't mind waiting a little longer.And let me tell you, it was worth every second. The service was kind and courteous. The food exceeded my expectations, and the prices were fair.I will be back!!

So good! We split two entrees: the dumplings and the chicken kabobs with rice, also had the vegetarian appetizer. A bit pricey but large portions, easily enough for a second meal. Flavors were amazing! Definitely added to our short list.

A must visit for Champaign!! The food was the best, the kind of good where you can’t stop eating it and before you know it your plate is empty! I had the lamb and it was cooked to perfection! The homemade nann was insanely good, and all the portions were big. Very friendly staff and the restaurant has a nice vibe!
