2nd time in a row I've been there and not received good drinks. My daughter got a spiced chai latte and I got a mocha frappe. Both drinks tasted as though there was no base put in either. My daughter described her drink as being cinnamon water. I tried it, and agreed, it tasted nothing like a spiced chai latte. Thankfully I tried mine, as mine tasted like coffee water. They are a treat for me, as they require a fair bit of insulin to enjoy, and fortunately I didn't take mine, because I would have been in dire straights. Left the drinks in the trash and got back on the highway to continue the trip. It is a shame, as my wife and I used to always stop here when we were going through champaign.

Coffee was solid. Overpriced but solid. The woman working the register was working her butt off but when I ordered food informed me that because they were shortstaffed, there would be no food. Understandable and not her fault. The struggle I had with the place was that it felt dirty. I used the restroom and it was completely out of soap, which means I’m not sure how employees are washing their hands. Maybe it’s for the best they didn’t have food today….

Please clean your toilets. I went to pee at one of the toilets and the rim below the seat was covered in black mold. I noticed when i went to wash my hands and could see it from that angle or if you’re a guy and you lift the seat to pee.The drip coffee was flavored. I did not expect that. It was not good. Perhaps they only offer flavored drip and it was our mistake.Egg salad pita was full of wilted greens. I gave up picking them out and just tossed it all. The egg bits in the salad were hard and rubbery. We spent over 30$ after tip. For much worse than mcdonalds.

Walked in was greeted, staff was very friendly. I Couldn't try the food because the prep cooler was broken... furniture and floors very worn-out.

Coffee is great, vibe is great, baristas are very nice - but in the few times I’ve been there, they’ll randomly close an hour earlier than their regular hours, without any warning. Just change your hours! It’s sucks to settle down to get some work done, buy a meal and coffee and get kicked out an hour earlier than you expect.

I don’t dislike this coffee shop, but it’s also not anything extraordinary. I do appreciate that it’s one of the few places that has lavender coffee flavour. Their menu could be expanded. That would make this place much more desirable. I also love that they feature local artist.
