Atmosphere of the cafe is nice and low key, and the service is fast but I didn't like much else. I got a Salted Caramel Cold Brew item and they put way too much milk in there to the point it felt like I was just drinking milk. All the caramel was at the bottom in a clump and the cold brew flavor itself wasn't too evident of what it was either. It definitely felt overpriced too. Another thing I thought was weird and interesting was that their menu uses AI generated pictures of every single drink. Not sure I'd be thrilled to come back.
The standard sweetness level was too sweet for the latte, it was just straight syrup. We didn't try the pastries but they looked dry and not fresh. The atmosphere was bleached from its previous wooden glory and there are 6 ramen machines for some reason but we didn't see a single one used the whole time. The staff are nice and make the drink quickly.

It's literally so cute in here, the coffee is amazing, and they have so many options!

Interior feels so much worse than before. I really don't like AI imagery as it disconnects me from the food (just use an actual picture?) Better places to go on campus which is a shame since this place has a sizable sitting area. Ruined it over the summer :(
Overpriced and the drinks aren’t that special. The food is pretty good if you are willing to pay the price.
increased prices of all their items significantly, can be pretty unaffordable

It has been renovated and completely lost the vibe of the authentic Caffe Bene. A lot of tables have been removed, and I’m not sure if it’s just because it’s summer break and the campus is less crowded. The menu is no longer the original Caffe Bene menu, and the beverages are overpriced and taste poor. They now add both a 3% credit card surcharge and a separate 3% service fee, which were not charged in the past (I think). The service fee was not optional either, as it was automatically added to the bill. If you miss the original Caffe Bene experience, I recommend going to the one in Urbana. I would not visit this location on Green Street again.

The food and drinks are really good. However, the new design feels so cold. I miss the old vibe. The old style was more warm and colorful. It was more comfortable.

Sofas are pretty torn and the food is alright. However, this cafe has the best aux of all time. Makes it a great place to study

Really loved the coffee and atmosphere of this cafe. The workers were nice and the place was clean. Kaye made my day when she served my coffee, it was great and she was kind and funny. Overall will be coming back soon.

I used to come here to study, but for some reason, ever since a few months ago my device doesn't work on their wifi anymore. It works fine on my phone, and my friends have no problems, and I can connect for maybe a few seconds, but as soon as I try to do anything, I get disconnected. This is the only place where this happens to me. I use my device elsewhere all the time and have no issues. The only conclusion I can come to is that they ban certain devices or websites from their network? It's pretty annoying since I can't do the literal one thing I came to do. I buy a drink every time I come, but now I have no choice but to go elsewhere. Absolutely ridiculous that they treat their customers this way. Why have a cafe on a college campus if you don't want people to study there? At least put up a notice saying you're not allowed to study so I don't have to waste an hour figuring out what's wrong.

Ordered the croissant sandwich, taste was below average, could not eat it without it coming apart.

The cheesecake brownie was tasty and really liked the coconut latte, not a drink you can find many other places.
Possibly the worst coffee I’ve had. I ordered a mocha and got a glass of milk.

Service was extremely slow for quick foods. Waffle was very small and not worth the price. Food taste was good.
