Hot food and friendly service. My only issue was it was 78 degrees in the dining room. Other than that I would highly recommend.

This place is spotless! From the parking lot to the dining room and restrooms. The senior special was affordable, the food is so good & served hot. (Even the oil used for frying is clean-no dark colors or burnt flavors.) Great friendly service too. We were traveling through & were ready for lunch. The cleanliness of their parking lot drew us in. If the outside is clean, the inside usually is too, and it was. We highly recommend this restaurant!

I order a catfish four times over 7 months each time was the same one piece of catfish on top and some other kind of fish hiding underneath. I asked on different occasions for them to fix this problem. Simply they would not replace it. If you want what you pay for do not come here

The lobster rolls are not shredded with thick slices of lobster, it’s very small and portioned out with two tiny round scoops. The lettuce was not full or medium slices of lettuce, barely any lettuce inside the rolls. The photo on their website and menu for the lobster rolls are completely deceiving. The lobster rolls were not good quality, the taste was off and the smell of them may have indicate the food might be spoiled. The chicken sandwich with cheese was definitely better.

I ordered to go for my first taste of Captain D's on May 30th 2025. The food tasted good, but in the pictures on walls showing the food, their were normal sized catfish fillets but what I got was a down-sized piece of catfish cut in three pieces. I ordered two fillets. I called Captain D's and talked to the manager and he said that they don't cut them that's how they send them. I paid for my friends big fish sandwich that looked normal size. $32.00's and change. I should have took pictures. The manager said he's had this complaint about the quantity before. I'm black and when they short me I don't shop with those businesses. I'll fry me own Captain! Abandon Ship! I'm still hungry!
