Best beef in town from the perspective of a Chicagoan foodie in temporary exile in Urbana for educational purposes. Also the limonata and the veggie arancini are solid complements to the beef. Very juicy and tender beef with solid flavor and all that, also they give lots of napkins which is good for when you’re eating a dipped beef.
Great service. Moist, beautiful Italian beef sandwich. Visiting from out of town and our Uber driver, Craig, recommended the place and he did not steer us wrong. this is the best Italian beef! The frontage spread was excellent. Arancini balls are incredible. Generous sandwich size--I could not finish it. Eat here!

I ordered a Dee-Dee's Cutlets Sandwich (on the restaurant week's menu) to go. It was delicious! The sandwich contained a big chicken cutlets, and mozzarella (kind of herb seasoned), and was just suitable for feeding me full during dinner. People here were so nice and friendly! I see that it's only open during dinner time through Thursday to Saturday. I think students would be happy if Dee-Dee's Beef could expand its opening hours to lunch throughout the week!
