DESTIHL Restaurant & Brew Works

One of the nicer brew pub/restaurants in the CU area, but some of the items are hit or miss. The banana cream pie dessert is a must try in my opinion. Certainly talked up as one of the nicer restaurants to go on a date, so reservations are generally accepted on busier nights. Worth a try if you like brewpub restaurants and haven't been to a DESTIHL before.

Our first time there. Service was excellent! You can sample any beer before you commit to a glass. Food was fresh, hot, and came out quickly despite how busy they were. The desserts are amazing! If you like 4 layer chocolate cake or 4 layer carrot cake, you better share with a friend!

ordered hamburger and fries. burger undercooked, bun so stale falling apart, pickles soggy and gross, tomato was the end piece and tasted old. Fries arrived cold. Server was great and attentive to the cold fries and quickly replaced them. For 12.95 It needed to be a lot better. Not coming back.

Great micro brewery with very inventive beer. The normal ones you would expect plus some you've never thought. The food is equally good

One of my favorite places to eat and have a nice beer. Love the specials and when they change up the menu. Staff is always friendly and fast. I will miss this location but excited to see what yin store in the new location!

Overall very nice. Note: 12/17/19 they had moving notice from this location. Nice atmosphere, nice attentive waitress...although didnt come by and ask how food was. We would have mentioned the asparagus in salmon dish was tough stems and not enough green bean salad. Personally would like more veggies in a dish to make more well rounded, guess it is standard to any 5 star tho... vegetables a garnish. Little irritating when you're buying a $20plus dish & they charge you for an extra piece of garlic toast.

If your white than you're experience will be amazing but if you're a family made of minorites then you will be ignored. Sounds unbelievable but when a family of minorities get ignored, while a white family comes in and recieve a shorter wait time with no reservation and the same wait time. It's absolute bull, we felt disgusted and we walked out

We went before the Illini game. They were not busy. Service was terrible. Did not check on us after we received our meal. No fill up on water, beer or wine. Nachos had no cheese and a left over mystery meat that was awful. We will not be back with so many better restaurants in Champaign.
